Abstract: An endoscope apparatus including a connector included in an endoscope and connected to an endoscope connection portion of a video processor, a fluid feeding apparatus including a tube configured to transmit fluid to the endoscope, a connection detector configured to detect a connection state of the tube with the connector of the endoscope, a control unit configured to detect an ON/OFF state of a power source of the fluid feeding apparatus, determine an abnormality exists when the connection detector detects that the tube is in a disconnected state with the connector of the endoscope and the power source of the fluid feeding apparatus is detected to be in an ON state, and output a notification of the determined abnormality, and a display configured to display the notification of the abnormality outputted by the control unit.

Abstract: A signal processing device processes a signal sent from an imaging device detachably attached to the signal processing device and includes: a signal processing unit configured to rewrite processing contents in accordance with a configuration; configuration memories having different capabilities and configured to store pieces of configuration data corresponding to contents of image processes that are performed in accordance with imaging sensors held by the imaging devices; a configuration controller configured to perform control to subject the signal processing unit to reconfiguration using the configuration data that depends on the imaging sensor of the imaging device attached to the signal processing device among the configuration data; a priority setting unit configured to set priority for each configuration data based on a predetermined condition; and a rewrite controller configured to rewrite the configuration data in the configuration memories based on the priority set by the priority setting unit.

Abstract: An endoscope system includes: a signal processing apparatus that performs processing on an output signal outputted from an endoscope; a detecting section configured to detect a type of the endoscope; a function setting section configured to set a plurality of functions in the endoscope system; an input section configured to input data to the function setting section; an output section configured to output a list of setting states of the plurality of functions to a display section; and a storing section configured to store recommended setting data corresponding to the plurality of functions, wherein the function setting section sets the signal processing apparatus to selected one of the setting corresponding to the type of the endoscope and a setting recommended by the recommended setting data, according to an input from the input section, and sets the plurality of functions according to the type of the endoscope.
