Abstract: A stent for medical use includes: a main body which includes a first rigid portion formed in a tubular shape along a longitudinal axis and having a predetermined rigidity with respect to a compression force exerted in a radial direction and a second rigid portion having a rigidity less than that of the first rigid portion, the second rigid portion which is substantially coaxial with and continues to a proximal end of the first rigid portion, and the second rigid portion which formed in a tubular shape along the longitudinal axis; and a gripping target region which is provided on an outer circumferential surface of the second rigid portion and is gripped by a gripping tool when the main body is led into a channel of an endoscope.

Abstract: A stent delivery system includes a guide catheter, a tubular stent into which the guide catheter can be inserted, and a tubular pusher catheter into which the guide catheter can be inserted and disposed nearer to a proximal end side than the stent. The pusher catheter includes a diameter expansion-suppressing part provided at a distal end part and having the same inner diameter as the stent and an intermediate part provided at a proximal end side of the diameter expansion-suppressing part and having a bending stiffness less than that of the diameter expansion-suppressing part. When the stent is pushed toward a distal end side by pushing the intermediate part of the pusher catheter toward the distal end side and bringing a distal end part of the diameter expansion-suppressing part into contact with a proximal end part of the stent, an inner diameter of the pusher catheter is prevented from expanding.

Abstract: A stent delivery device for delivering a self-expanding stent comprises an inner sheath including a proximal end portion and a distal end portion, a stent stopper including a stopper main body that is circumferentially disposed over at least a portion of the inner sheath at the proximal end portion, and at least one projection extending radially outward from the stopper main body for releasably engaging a portion of the self-expanding stent, and an outer sheath slidably disposed over the inner sheath and the stent stopper. Abstract: A stent delivery system includes a guide catheter, a stent into which the guide catheter can be inserted, and a pusher catheter into which the guide catheter can be inserted and disposed in a proximal end side relative to the stent. The guide catheter has a guide catheter tip portion protruding to a distal end side further than the stent when the guide catheter is inserted into the stern and the pusher catheter, and a guide catheter body disposed at least partially in the passages of the stent and the pusher catheter.
