摘要: Medical systems and methods for making and using medical systems are disclosed. Example medical systems may include an atherectomy system configured to engage and remove plaque from walls in vessels of a vascular system. The atherectomy system may include a drive shaft, a rotational tip coupled to an end of the drive shaft, a motor coupled to the drive shaft to rotate the rotational tip, and a controller configured to control a motor state of the motor. The controller may adjust a range of possible load outputs from the motor and/or a maximum load output from the motor to account for external loads acting on the drive shaft and/or rotational tip rotated by the motor and facilitate passing an occlusion in a vasculature of a patient.

摘要: A camera control system includes an orientation control unit attached to a headset and a camera attached to an endoscope. In response to rotation of the headset, the orientation control unit transmits a control signal to a control unit attached to the support. The control unit activates servomotors to adjust the orientation of the camera on two axes, corresponding to rotation of the headset. Video signals captured by the camera are relayed to a user wearing the headset.

摘要: This endoscope device can simplify the determination of the moving direction of a focusing lens, and can improve the accuracy of auto focusing. The endoscope has the following elements: an optical system having a focusing lens; a lens moving unit which moves the focusing lens along an optical axis thereof; an image capturing unit which obtains an optical image of an object from the optical system as a plurality of images each of which has a different focal position from each other; a moving direction determining section which determines whether to change the observation depth on the basis of the plurality of images, and determines a moving direction toward which the focusing lens is to be moved on the bases of the images; and a drive control unit which controls the lens moving unit to move the focusing lens toward a determined moving direction.

摘要: Disclosed are a system, a device, and a method of a lubricant applicator device to be used with an insertion tube of an endoscope. In one embodiment, a video system center having a processor and a memory; a monitor coupled with the video system center; a light source coupled with the video system center; an endoscope coupled the video system center having a control section; an insertion tube having a camera at a distal end of the insertion tube that permits viewing of an area of an internal structure that is directly in front of the camera; and a mirror to be mechanically extendable at a distance from the camera and reflected backward, so that the camera permits viewing of an area behind the camera through a reflection of an image produced by the mirror when an operator of the endoscope utilizes the control section of the endoscope.

摘要: Disclosed herein is an aspiration assembly for attaching to an endoscope. The aspiration assembly comprises an extendable suction tube for aspirating an object (e.g., smoke, blood, blood clot, bone debris, or tissue debris) at or near a surgical site during an endoscopic surgery. The aspiration assembly can further comprise an irrigation tube for directing a fluid to the surgical site for cleaning the endoscope lens. By integrating an extendable suction tube with the endoscope, the technology described herein obviate the need for instrument switching and/or multiple surgeons during the surgery.
