    Abstract: In the present invention a control device and a safety device establish a connection in accordance with a result of a comparison of connection setting information stored in the control device and setting identification information stored in the safety device. A support device is provided with a processor for executing a support program for assisting in setting the control device. A support program includes a first command for acquiring the setting identification information from the safety device and a second command for setting, in the connection setting information corresponding to the safety device, the setting identification information acquired in response to execution of the first command. Thus, the required identification information can easily be set even when a plurality of safety devices are connected to the same network.

    Abstract: An information processing device collects information on an operating state of a communication system formed of a master device that manages communication over a network and at least one slave device connected to the network and capable of performing communication as instructed by the master device. The master device and the slave device record communication log entries regarding time information and a communication state in accordance with communication processing.     Abstract: A control system and a functional unit are capable of freely setting a place at which an operation for executing an access process is performed independently of an installation place of a controller. A CPU unit capable of communicating with a storage unit, and a plurality of functional units communicatively connected to the CPU unit are included. The functional unit includes an input unit including a switch that receives a user operation. The input unit generates a command for executing an access process when an input portion receives execution of the access process for accessing the storage unit from an IO unit. A designated IO unit executes the access process.
