摘要: An I/O circuit for use with an industrial controller provides an input circuit with low power dissipation through the use of a series connected substantially nonresistance impedance. An AC waveform input activates a light emitting diode (LED) bridge to provide an optical signal which illuminates a photosensitive solid-state switch thereby providing optical isolation between the industrial controller and the controlled process or machine. By using a series connected substantially nonresistance impedance, reduced current demand by the input circuit may be realized, which allows reduced power dissipation. As a result, the same circuit allows receiving input signals over a greater range, such as 120 volts AC and 240 volts AC, and allows significantly smaller components with closer spacing for a more compact design.

摘要: One embodiment is directed to an enterprise mobile network for providing wireless service within a coverage area associated with an enterprise using licensed radio frequency spectrum. The enterprise mobile network includes a base station subsystem deployed on a premises of the enterprise to provide wireless capacity within the coverage area using the licensed radio frequency spectrum. The enterprise mobile network further includes a mobile switching subsystem deployed in an office of a service provider that operates a public land mobile network. The mobile switching subsystem is communicatively coupled to the public land mobile network. The base station subsystem is communicatively coupled to the mobile switching subsystem using an Internet Protocol (IP) network. The mobile switching subsystem is configured to function as a mobile switching center (MSC) and visitor location register (VLR) for roaming subscribers and local subscribers of the enterprise. The mobile switching subsystem is configured to function as a home location register (HLR) and gateway mobile switching center (GMSC) for local subscribers of the enterprise.

摘要: A system for minimizing the effect of null zones in an interrogation zone of a marker detection system. The system includes a reference antenna system configured to produce a first reference electromagnetic field during a first time period. The antenna system also includes a phase canceling antenna system configured to produce a second electromagnetic field substantially in phase with the reference electromagnetic field during the first time period and a third electromagnetic field substantially out of phase with the reference electromagnetic field during the first time period. The phasing of the first field or the second and third fields may be continuously switched while the phase of the other is held constant. A method of spatially shifting null zones in an interrogation zone of a marker detection system is also provided.

摘要: A method of testing an integrated circuit design to determine whether or not the design satisfies an electrostatic discharge protection specification, said circuit design incorporating electrostatic discharge protection routes between top-level nodes of the design. The method comprises defining an electrostatic discharge protection score for each of said electrostatic discharge protection routes, for each top-level node pair, calculating an electrostatic discharge score for every route through the active circuit between the top-level nodes, and identifying active circuit routes between top-level node pairs for which the electrostatic discharge score is less than the electrostatic discharge protection score for the corresponding electrostatic discharge protection route, or lies within a predefined amount of that score.

摘要: A knitted web and a method for making the same includes a plurality of wipers, each having a wiper body with a length defined between finished leading and trailing edges and a width defined between opposed, selvaged side edges. The wipers are knitted with continuous yarns, including a primary yarn and a reinforcing yarn, and a separable portion is knitted between individual wipers using a dissociable yarn. Loose primary and reinforcing yarns extending between wipers are cut and the dissociable yarn is removed from between the wipers to separate the web into individual wipers with edges that require no edge treatment to prevent raveling.
