摘要: Methods and systems directed to facilitating wireless communication with a wireless terminal are disclosed. A baseband unit (BBU) is configured to perform a first portion of a physical-layer (PHY) protocol of a radio access network (RAN). A remote radio unit (RRU) is configured to perform a remaining portion of the PHY protocol. The RRU is communicatively coupled to the BBU over a non-deterministic communication link. An entity other than the RRU is also used. The system is configured to determine a communication quality parameter and to send a message related to the communication quality parameter to said entity.

摘要: A method for use in a wireless telecommunications network comprising: a core network; base stations; and a terminal device configured to communicate wirelessly with the base stations including by the use of a split radio bearer receivable at the secondary base station for splitting between the secondary base station and the master base station before delivery to the terminal device; the method comprising: when the secondary base station exhausts a supply of unique parameter sets used in security ciphering of received split radio bearers, the secondary base station sends a notification to the master base station of a requirement to alter data handling resources allocated for handling split radio bearers received from the secondary base station in one or both of the master base station and the terminal device; and the master base station, in response to the notification, operating to effect an alteration in the said data handling resources.

摘要: A method for implementing dynamic content handling of inter layer messages in a pod based cloud native environment, the method includes: receiving, by a virtual centralized unit (vCU), at least one Master Information Block (MIB) parameter configured by a virtual element management system (vEMS); preparing, by the vCU, a MIB encoded buffer may include a Dummy System Frame Number (D-SFN); sending, by the vCU, once at the time of startup initiation, the MIB encoded buffer with the D-SFN to a virtual distributed unit (vDU) via a Midhaul between the vCU and the vDU; receiving, by the vDU, the MIB encoded buffer with the D-SFN via the Midhaul; for each received MIB encoded buffer, by the vDU, calculating a new SFN from an utility function; updating the MIB encoded buffer; and sending the updated MIB encoded buffer with the new SFN from the utility function to a user entity (UE).

摘要: The present disclosure is a novel utility of a software defined radio (SDR) based Distributed Antenna System (DAS) that is field reconfigurable and support multi-modulation schemes (modulation-independent), multi-carriers, multi-frequency bands and multi-channels. The present invention enables a high degree of flexibility to manage, control, enhance, facilitate the usage and performance of a distributed wireless network such as Flexible Simulcast, automatic traffic load-balancing, network and radio resource optimization, network calibration, autonomous/assisted commissioning, carrier pooling, automatic frequency selection, frequency carrier placement, traffic monitoring, traffic tagging, pilot beacon, etc. As a result, a DAS in accordance with the present invention can increase the efficiency and traffic capacity of the operators' wireless network.

A first DRU is operable to communicate using a first set of frequencies characterized by a first frequency band over a first geographic footprint and a second set of frequencies characterized by a second frequency band different from the first frequency band over a second geographic footprint including and surrounding the first geographic footprint. A second DRU is operable to communicate using the first set of frequencies over a third geographical footprint and a third set of frequencies characterized by a third frequency band different from the first frequency band and the second frequency band over a fourth geographic footprint including and surrounding the third geographic footprint.

摘要: An apparatus and system of uplink timing adjustment for frequency range 2 (FR2) communication with remote radio heads (RRHs) in a unidirectional high speed train (HST) deployment are described. A one-shot uplink timing adjustment is applied when a first value is greater than a second value. The first value is a difference between an end of a first transmission from a neighboring RRH and an end of reception of the first transmission at the UE less a difference between an end of a second transmission from a serving RRH and an end of reception of the second transmission at the UE. The second value is a predetermined gradual timing adjustment set by a 3GPP specification, the predetermined adjustment plus a timing error limit, the predetermined adjustment plus twice a downlink error, or a multiple of the predetermined adjustment. The one-shot uplink timing adjustment is twice the first value.

In some aspects, a network node may transmit, to a first integrated access and backhaul (IAB) donor central unit (CU), an indication of a first priority level associated with a first communication resource served by a distributed unit (DU) of the network node and a second priority level associated with a second communication resource served by the DU, wherein the first priority level is higher than the second priority level. The network node may receive, from the first IAB donor CU, a first resource configuration for the first communication resource based at least in part on the indication of the first priority level. When each of the plurality of repeaters receives, from the server, the identification information of the terminal apparatus to be connected and the connection order information thereof, the plurality of repeaters connects to the terminal apparatuses to be connected according to the order indicated by the connection order information, and acquire detection data therefrom.

The method includes receiving a first pressure reading from a first pressure sensor coupled to a chassis of a work machine and receiving a second pressure reading from a second pressure sensor. The method also includes calculating a first relative elevation of the chassis of the work machine relative to the second pressure sensor by comparing the first pressure reading to the second pressure reading.
