    摘要: A query device scans radio frequencies for visible transmitting devices. The querying device receives at least a signal strength and identifier information associated with each of the transmitting devices. The list of visible devices is used to query a database containing location information for a plurality of visible devices. The list may be sent to a locationing system that may perform a location analysis on the resulting data to return a location to the query device. The weighted average of the locations returned in the database query may be computed to determine the location of the querying device, with the weight for each of the locations being the current signal strength detected by the querying device. Neural network analysis may also be used to determine the location of the querying device. Learning and seeding operations many also be used to populate the database with location information for transmitting devices.

    摘要: Techniques for filtering and promoting application store applications are described that can be employed to provide filtered application information and/or application promotions to client devices. The filtering and promoting can be based at least in part upon system information that describes configurations and capabilities of the client devices. In one or more embodiments, various system information for a client device is detected. The detected system information for the client device is used to filter application data in an application catalog. Page information to be provided to the client device for interaction with the application catalog is then ascertained using the filtered application data. The page information is sufficient to enable the client device to render targeted application store pages having filtered application information and/or promotions that are selected based on the detected system information.

    摘要: Disclosed is an improved axial flow unitary filter element for filtering a fluid stream, examples including a gaseous or an air stream. The filter element includes a primary filter portion and a pre-separation filter portion. The portions of said filter element are permanently integrated such that the portions form said unitary or one-piece filter element. The pre-separation portion is permanently secured and fully peripherally sealed about its peripheral portions to the primary filter such that a gaseous stream entering said inlet face of the primary filter must first pass through the pre-separation filter portion of the filter element. The pre-separation portion protects the primary filter portion from becoming water logged due to the presence of water droplets or snow in the fluid stream.
