摘要： A wheelchair is disclosed in which a body support frame pivoted to a main frame can move from a seated posture to a stand-up posture and vice versa without using an external elevating force. The wheelchair includes the main frame for supporting driving wheels and auxiliary wheels and a body support frame formed by interconnecting a lower limb support member, a waist support member and a back rest member to one another. The forward portion of the main frame and the tip portion of the waist support member are turnably supported by a pivot, and an extension member for turnably supporting the waist support member with the pivot as the support point is interposed between the main frame and the waist support member. The motive force for the stand-up operation of the body support frame relies upon the push-up force of the user of the wheelchair (the body lift-up force of the user by his or her upper limbs) and the force of the extension member.

摘要： A disabled transferring device comprises a stationary base and a rotary base coupled with the stationary base for forming a base assembly. An actuation lever assembly which has an actuation lever having a pivot point in the vicinity of one end and an actuation point at the other end, is pivotally supported on the rotary base of the base assembly. A pivotal support shaft is secured onto the level in the vicinity of the pivot point in such an arrangement that the securing point of the pivotal support shaft is oriented at the pivot point or between the one end and the pivot point with a first distance to the pivot point of the lever. The first distance is much shorted than a second distance between the pivot point and the actuation point. A saddle to mount thereon the disabled is mounted on the top end of the support shaft. The support shaft is pivotable between a tilted position with the saddle for placing the saddle on the chest or brest of the disabled and the vertical position at which the angular displacement of the shaft and saddle is caused to the angular position where the chair, bed, vehicular seat or so forth to transfer the disabled is oriented.

摘要： A heating line pattern structure is provided, in which the effect of the heating lines of a defogger on an antenna for a TV broadcast especially for a digital TV broadcast may be decreased. The defogger is structured by arranging heating lines between bus bars on both sides. The portion of an uppermost heating line in proximity to the monopole antenna are folded rectangularly at a regular interval to form a meander shape. One lateral heating line is extended under the meander-shaped heating line portion, and is connected to a vertical heating line to which four lateral heating lines are connected together.

摘要： A vehicular antenna apparatus includes a radiating conductor directly patterned on a glass surface of a vehicle, a base plate fixed to the glass surface, a frame screwed to the base plate, a power feeding substrate and a circuit substrate accommodated and held in the frame, a connecting small substrate electrically connecting both substrates, and a cover attached on the top of the frame. A patterned surface of the power feeding substrate is close to and faces the glass surface, and thereby indirect power feeding can be performed. Both ends of the connecting small substrate are received in connecting holes. A power feeding pattern and a preamplifier circuit are connected via a microstrip line.

摘要： A glass window antenna for use in a motor vehicle provides satisfactory antenna characteristics while making best use of the space of a glass window with a heating conductor as the main antenna element which is heated by a pair of power supply lines through choke coils. In a preferred embodiment, a capacitor is connected across the power supply lines at a position between the choke coils and the heating conductor to minimize the loss or leakage of radio signals from the heating conductor through the choke coils. A symmetrical pair of wires coupled with each other is formed on the glass window and connected to ends of the heating conductor to improve a radio wave reception gain.

摘要： A process for producing a pitch which is used as a raw material for producing carbon fibers is disclosed. The process comprises subjecting a petroleum heavy residual oil to hydrogenation treatment in the presence of catalysts, removing a low boiling point fraction of the oil by reduced pressure distillation, subjecting the resulting reduced pressure distillation residual oil to solvent extraction treatment, and carrying out thermal modification of the resulting extraction component.By utilizing the process for producing the pitch it is possible to use a wide variety of different types of oils in order to produce carbon fibers. The carbon fibers produced from the pitch produced according to the disclosed process have desirable characteristics.
