摘要: Provided is a radar and light emission assembly for emitting light and radar radiation and for detecting at least reflected radar radiation including: a headlight including a light-transparent headlight cover, and a light source, and a light reflector; a radar module, which is arranged behind the headlight cover, integrated in the headlight and including a radar antenna unit. The radar and light emission assembly has at least one radar radiation-forming mechanism, in particular a frequency-selective radar radiation-forming mechanism, including a radar radiation-forming mechanism, which is integrated in the headlight cover. The application of the radar technology, integrated in the headlight, can be further optimized hereby. The invention further relates to a method and a use for a radar and light emission assembly of this type.

摘要: A communication system is disclosed. The system can include a first communication unit including a first antenna, a second communication unit including a second antenna and a dielectric waveguide cable, and a rotary joint configured to enable the first unit to rotate with respect to the second unit about an axis of rotation of the system. The dielectric waveguide cable can extend from the second antenna to the rotary joint, where a proximal end of the cable can be coupled to the second antenna and a distal end of the cable can be affixed to the second unit at a location bordering a space defined by the rotary joint. The first and second units can be configured to engage in two-way communication with each other. An axis of the distal end of the cable can be substantially aligned with the axis of rotation of the system.

摘要: A radio frequency sensor module adapted for mounting a vehicle exhaust system structure. A bracket on the module includes a first mounting ear defining a first through aperture. A printed circuit board is coupled to the bracket. A cover defines an opening and an interior cavity in communication with the opening. The bracket and the cover are coupled together in a relationship with the printed circuit board extending through the opening in the cover and into the interior cavity of the cover and the first and second mounting ears in an abutting and overlying relationship. A mounting bolt extends through the respective first and second through apertures in the respective first and second mounting ears for securing the radio frequency module to the housing of a vehicle exhaust system.
