摘要： A process for producing a pitch which is used as a raw material for producing carbon fibers is disclosed. The process comprises subjecting a petroleum heavy residual oil to hydrogenation treatment in the presence of catalysts, removing a low boiling point fraction of the oil by reduced pressure distillation, subjecting the resulting reduced pressure distillation residual oil to solvent extraction treatment, and carrying out thermal modification of the resulting extraction component.By utilizing the process for producing the pitch it is possible to use a wide variety of different types of oils in order to produce carbon fibers. The carbon fibers produced from the pitch produced according to the disclosed process have desirable characteristics.

In formula (1), G represents a hydrogen atom, an aliphatic group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; R1 represents an amino group, an aliphatic oxy group, an aliphatic group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; R2 represents a substituent; A represents a heterocyclic group; m represents an integer of 0 to 5; and n represents an integer of 1 to 4, wherein: when n=2, the azo pigment is a dimer formed via R1, R2, A or G; when n=3, the azo pigment is a a trimer formed via R1, R2, A or G; and when n=4, the azo pigment is a tetramer formed via R1, R2, A or G.

The data broadcasting system includes a transmitting system and a receiver. The transmitting system includes an HD (High Definition)/SD (Standard Definition) converting section to convert HDTV (High Definition Television) data contents into data contents having a resolution applicable to an SDTV (Standard Definition Television) monitor to obtain SDTV data contents and a multiplexing section to multiplex the SDTV data contents, HDTV video contents, and HDTV data contents. The receiver has a multiplexing separation section to separate the data broadcasting contents received from the transmitting system into the SDTV data contents, the HDTV video contents, and the HDTV data contents, a down-scaling section to convert a resolution of the HDTV video contents into a resolution applicable to the SDTV monitor to obtain SDTV video contents, and a video/data synthesizing section to synthesize the SDTV video contents and the SDTV data contents to obtain display data to be used in the SDTV monitor.

摘要： The present invention provides a method of producing a liquid fuel enabling production of middle distillate at a high yield from a feed oil containing paraffinic hydrocarbons having 20 to 100 carbon atoms as main components without losing the high cracking activity and also enabling provision of high quality gas oil included in the middle distillate.A feed oil containing paraffinic hydrocarbons having 20 to 100 carbon atoms as main components is subjected to hydrotreating in the present of a prespecified hydrotreating catalyst and under the conditions for hydrotreating including a temperature of 200 to 350° C., a liquid hourly space velocity of 0.1 to 5.0 h−1, and a partial pressure of hydrogen of 0.5 to 8 MPa to obtain an effluent oil, and then the effluent oil is fractionated to obtain middle distillate including a gas oil with a cetane number of 75 or over and a pour point of −27.5° C. or below at a yield of 55% or over against a total weight of the feed oil.

摘要： Provided is a pigment dispersion composition suitable for a colored curable composition which enables retaining adhesion capability of a colored pattern and inhibiting the generation of residues, even when a relatively severe development condition is employed. Furthermore, a red colored composition capable of forming a red colored thin film with excellent spectral characteristics. The pigment composition contains an azo pigment represented by the following Formula (1); at least one of acidic functional group-containing organic pigment derivative, anthraquinone derivative, and triazine derivative; and a dispersant. The red colored composition contains a red pigment; a yellow pigment; and a dispersant, in which specific spectral characteristics are satisfied when a colored transmitting film having a thickness of 0.6 μm is formed using the red colored composition.
