摘要： A vehicle can execute an automatic driving mode and a manual driving mode as a driving mode. An assistance device supports mode switching from the automatic driving mode to the manual driving mode. The assistance device includes an acquisition interface and a notification interface. The acquisition interface acquires data indicating a situation around the vehicle. The notification interface that communicates a candidate position derived based on the data acquired by the acquisition interface, the candidate position being a candidate of a position where the mode switching should be executed.
