Abstract: An electronic image intensifier including an electron multiplier. The device comprises a photocathode, a fluorescent screen, and a body between and spaced from the photocathode and screen. The body is provided with a plurality of elongated, longitudinal passageways, the walls of which are secondary emissive. Electrodes are provided on opposite surfaces bounding the channels and an electrically conductive electron-permeable membrane covering the entrance to each passageway.
