Abstract: Glass sheets are conveyed in sequence along a main line conveyor which includes means for diverting sheets from the main line conveyor on to branch line conveyors. Selectively operable suction transfer means is provided over the junction of each branch line with the main conveyor, and is operable to lift and convey a sheet over the junction so that it continues along the main conveyor.
