摘要： A coated glass article includes a glass substrate. A coating is formed over the glass substrate. The coating includes a first inorganic metal oxide layer deposited over a major surface of the glass substrate. The first inorganic metal oxide layer has a refractive index of 1.6 or more. A second inorganic metal oxide layer is deposited over the first inorganic metal oxide layer. The second inorganic metal oxide layer has a refractive index which is less than the refractive index of the first inorganic metal oxide layer. A third inorganic metal oxide layer is deposited over the second inorganic metal oxide layer. The third inorganic metal oxide layer has a refractive index of 2.2 or more and the refractive index of the third inorganic metal oxide layer is greater than the refractive index of the second inorganic metal oxide layer. A fourth inorganic metal oxide layer is deposited over the third inorganic metal oxide layer. The fourth inorganic metal oxide layer has a refractive index which is less than the refractive index of the third inorganic metal oxide layer. The coated glass article exhibits a total visible light reflectance of less than 6.5%.

摘要： A method of making a reflective coated glass article includes providing a glass substrate. A first gaseous mixture is formed. The first gaseous mixture includes a silane compound and inert gas. The first gaseous mixture is delivered to a location above a major surface of the glass substrate to deposit a first coating layer directly on the major surface of the glass substrate. The first coating layer is deposited at a thickness of 5-50 nm. A second gaseous mixture is formed. The second gaseous mixture includes a silane compound, a radical scavenger and molecular oxygen. The second gaseous mixture is delivered to a location above the first coating layer. A second coating layer is deposited at a thickness of 5-50 nm over the first coating layer. The coated glass article exhibits a total visible light reflectance (Illuminant D65, ten degree observer) of 45% or more from a coated side of the coated glass article.

摘要： A window assembly includes a first pane of glass. The first pane of glass is chemically strengthened and exhibits a surface compressive stress of 400 MPa or more. A second pane of glass has a first major surface and a second major surface. The second major surface of the second pane of glass and a first major surface of the first pane of glass face each other. The second pane of glass includes 68-74 weight % SiO2, 2-6 weight % MgO, 1-10 weight % CaO, 12-16 weight % Na2O, 0-1 weight % K2O, 0.8-2.0 weight % Fe2O3 (total iron), 0-1.25 weight % TiO2, and 0-1.25 weight % CeO2. A polymeric interlayer is provided between the first pane of glass and the second pane of glass. The window assembly exhibits a direct solar transmittance of 55% or less and a total solar transmittance of 65% or less.

摘要： A light emitting diode display is described including inner and outer panes of glass. The inner pane of glass has first and second major surfaces wherein a visible light reflection from the second major surface is 7.6% or less. The outer pane of glass is in a parallel relationship with the inner pane of glass. One or more light emitting diodes (LEDs) and at least one (a first) interlayer is provided between the inner and outer panes of glass. The first interlayer encapsulates the one or more LEDs. A conductive coating may be formed over the first major surface of the inner pane of glass and at least one (a first) of the one or more LEDs may be provided on the conductive coating, the first light emitting diode being in electrical communication with the conductive coating. The conductive coating may be transparent to visible light.

A video display can be mounted behind the coated glass article, such that when the video display is in operation it is visible through the coated glass article and when the video display is not in operation is it concealed by the coated glass article.
