Abstract: A universal coupled includes a body member with a plug entry end and an opposite fluid flow outlet end with a retainer nut for maintaining a biasing member and axially slidable plug valve in the body member wherein the plug includes multiple, discrete diameter axially joined sections which are sized to uniquely receive discrete plugs. A sleeve slidably mounted on the body member engages retaining balls which radially engage and retain a plug inserted into the body member or may be manually and axially displaced to release the retaining balls.
