Abstract: The present invention relates to an adjustable control system for a caravan moving system in which the caravan movers each include a brushed motor. The adjustable control system can control two caravan movers (10) mounted on a single axle caravan or two caravan movers mounted on a twin axle caravan or four caravan movers mounted on a twin axle caravan (quad system). The caravan moving system comprises a control unit, a user operated actuating device, power means and a drive unit. The present invention utilises a control system which provides variable movement of the or each caravan mover (10) and also provides gradual changes in both speed of each brushed motor and the subsequent ability to smoothly change the direction of travel of the caravan. In particular, the present invention enables the caravan to follow a wavy or curved line of travel in which the radius of the turn varies (i.e. from 0 degrees to a spin on the spot (equivalent to a 90 degree turn)). Accordingly, the caravan can follow sinusoidal and/or elliptical lines of travel without intermittent stops to provide sequential directional changes. Furthermore, the user has the continuous ability to simultaneously vary the speed.

Abstract: The camping assembly 2 may be in the form of a folding camper 10 and comprises a canopy 30 which effectively provides a tent canopy 30 for the folding camper 10. The folding camper 10 also comprises a framework 32 to maintain the tent canopy 30 in a raised configuration in order to provide an accommodation space within the folding camper 10 in the assembled configuration. The framework 32 includes a front frame 34 and a rear frame 36. The front frame 34 comprises three airbeams 41, 42, 43. The three airbeams include a front airbeam 41, an intermediate airbeam 42 and a rear airbeam 43. Each of the airbeams 41, 42, 43 comprises a curved or hooped inflatable airbeam. Similarly, the rear frame 36 comprises three airbeams 45, 46, 47. The three airbeams 45, 46, 47 include a front airbeam 45, an intermediate airbeam 46 and a rear airbeam 47. Each of the airbeams 45, 46, 47 comprises a curved or hooped airbeam. The present invention provides a folding camper 10 which is assembled by simultaneously inflating a single airbeam network to put the canopy 30 in tension and to make the canopy 30 taut. The folding camper 10 does not require any auxiliary tensioning system or mechanism for the canopy since this is provided intrinsically by the connection of the lower edge of the canopy around the trailer and due to the geometry of the airbeam network and, in particular, a central longitudinal airbeam.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an adjustable control system for a caravan moving system in which the caravan movers each include a brushed motor. Abstract: The present invention provides a camping assembly (10) comprising an awning (18) which is releasably secured to a side of a caravan although in other embodiments the awning (18) may be releasably secured to the side of a tent/trailer tent/folding camper. The awning comprises a canopy and a network of inflatable air poles (26). The awning may be inflated by a removable pump or by an embedded pump or by air donated from a further inflatable camping structure. The awning comprises a donor valve (16). The donor valve is arranged to inflate a camping accessory (20, 22, 24) by donating a volume of air from the air poles to the camping accessory. In this way, the camping accessory can be inflated very quickly and the removal of the air does not significantly impact the structural stability of the awning. This provides a readily available and accessible air source.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a drive unit in the form of a caravan mover (10) comprising a motor (12) (drive means) and a head (14) which are linked together by a gear mechanism (16). The head (14) provides a roller (15) which is rotatably mounted on a shaft. The roller (15) is arranged, in use, to be urged or pressed against the tread portion (surface) of a tyre. The drive unit is controlled by a control unit (ECU) which controls the movement of the driven roller (15) between the disengaged position and the engaged position and also controls the rotation (and direction) of the driven roller (15). The caravan mover (10) of the present invention includes an integral power supply such that the unit comprises a single integral system which is easily installed on the caravan and does not require the routing of cables from a remote power supply. The battery (30) comprises securement means in order to quickly and easily secure the battery (30) to the drive unit housing and, in particular, to the housing (20) of the motor (12). The securement of the battery (30) to the motor 6 also automatically and simultaneously aligns and connects terminals of the battery (30) to power receiving terminals of the motor (16). Such a quick and simply securement mechanism provides a battery (30) can be quickly and easily removed, for example, in order to be charged. Accordingly, the drive unit/caravan mover (10) (including the motor, roller, battery, control unit and mounting means) forms a single self-supporting component which is solely secured to the caravan/trailer at a single location by the mounting means.
