摘要: The present disclosure relates to a source base station. The source base station comprises a processing circuitry that generates a user equipment packet duplication status. The user equipment packet duplication status includes information on the status of uplink packet duplication performed by a user equipment with the source base station and at least one further base station. The information on the status of uplink packet duplication is per uplink radio bearer, one or more uplink radio bearers being established between the user equipment and the source base station. The source base station further comprises a transmitter that transmits the user equipment packet duplication status to a target base station which is the target of a handover from the source base station performed for the user equipment.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a mobile terminal, a base station and respective operation methods. The mobile terminal comprises circuitry, which in operation assumes that a base station is configured to use one of a plurality of transmission beams, receives a downlink control channel candidate and a corresponding demodulation reference signal using one of a plurality of reception beams corresponding to the assumed one of the plurality of transmission beams, performs channel estimation based on the received demodulation reference signal, and, depending on the quality, demodulates the downlink control channel candidate using the channel estimation. The channel estimation is performed using a demodulation reference signal sequence which is generated observing an association which is associating the generated sequence with the assumed one of the plurality of transmission beams such that at least two of the plurality of transmission beams are associated with different demodulation reference signal sequences.

The UE comprises a transceiver which, in operation, performs listen before talk, LBT and circuitry which, in operation, performs at least one of: incrementing a counter upon determining LBT failure, starting a triggering timer upon determining LBT failure if the triggering timer is not running, and determining whether the counter has reached a threshold value upon expiry of the triggering timer; and incrementing the counter upon determining a number N of consecutive LBT failures due to ongoing LBT backoff. The circuitry generates a indicating consistent LBT failure upon determining that the counter has reached the threshold value, and the transceiver, in operation, declares consistent LBT failure.

The UE receives, from the base station, downlink control information, DCI, indicating a UE group ID. The UE, when determining that the associated UE group ID is the same as the UE group ID indicated by the DCI, determines scheduling request radio resources within the at least one set of uplink control information radio resources based on the received downlink control information. The UE transmits a scheduling request to the base station using the determined scheduling request radio resources.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a user equipment comprising a receiver receiving a minimum-system-information message from a first radio base station. System information for the first radio cell that can be acquired by the UE is carried within the minimum-SI message and one or more additional-SI messages. The minimum-SI message includes system information for accessing the first radio cell and at least one system information index, each of which is associated with one of the additional-SI messages. The SI message index comprises a value tag and an area pointer, the latter pointing to one area already defined. Processing circuitry determines whether the UE had already acquired before the additional-SI message associated with the same value tag and the same area. If the determination is positive, the processing circuitry determines that system information included in said additional-SI message acquired before is applicable to the first radio cell.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a user equipment, with a processor which upon being triggered by a random access events, determines random access transmission parameters to be used by the UE for transmitting a random access message to its base station. At least part of the random access transmission parameters are determined based on the random access event that triggered the transmission of the random access message and on random access configuration information. The random access configuration information associates each of a plurality of random access events with a set of random access transmission parameters among a plurality of random access transmission parameters usable by the user equipment to transmit a random access message to the base station. A transmitter of the UE transmits the random access message to the base station using the determined random access transmission parameters.
