Abstract: A driving assistance apparatus configured to support a driving of a vehicle at a time of pulling out of the vehicle, the driving assistance apparatus including: a control section configured to determine a movement path from a parking space to a predetermined position of a road region, and run the vehicle along the movement path on a basis of surroundings information of the vehicle when pulling out the vehicle from the parking space to the road region, wherein the control section leaves an accelerator operation for the vehicle to a user while automatically controlling a steering operation for the vehicle at least in a section in the movement path, and switches from an automated driving mode to a manual driving mode in response to the steering operation that is performed by the user when the vehicle travels in the section.

Abstract: A driving assistance device includes a processor connected to a memory. In a teaching traveling mode, the processor stores, in the memory, a teaching traveling path obtained by a vehicle traveling from a current position to a start position designated by a user, and generates teaching data related to a teaching path obtained by reversing the teaching traveling path from an end point toward a start point. The processor causes the vehicle to travel along the teaching path in an automated traveling mode. The processor generates, in the teaching traveling mode, a recommended path in which a turning radius of a stroke of forward travel is larger than a turning radius of a stroke of backward travel in a range from the current position to the start position. The processor outputs, in the teaching traveling mode, display information for displaying a display screen including the recommended path.

Abstract: A control method for a driving assistance apparatus of a vehicle, the driving assistance apparatus coupled with a sensor monitoring an ambient area of the vehicle, the control method including generating a travel path from a parking space to a road region using input from the sensor, traveling the vehicle part of the travel path using a second input from the sensor in a first autonomous traveling mode, traveling the vehicle another part of the travel path using a third input from the sensor in a second autonomous traveling mode, and switching from the second autonomous driving mode to a manual driving mode in response to a steering operation of the vehicle being performed by the user while the vehicle is travelling the second part of the travel path in the second autonomous mode.
