Abstract: An electric power tool includes a body, a driver, a manipulation section, a load sensor, and a controller. To the body, a tool is attachable. The driver is configured to drive the tool to rotate, the tool being attached to the body. The manipulation section is configured to receive an operation for causing operation of the driver. The load sensor is configured to measure a load caused when the driver operates. The controller is configured to: set an upper limit value of a rotation speed of the driver in accordance with the load measured by the load sensor; and control driving of the driver to rotate based on the upper limit value.

Abstract: A mode setting unit sets a parameter setting mode or a work mode. A parameter setting unit sets a plurality of parameter values in the parameter setting mode. A torque estimation unit calculates a tightening torque value by using a detection result from an impact detection unit. In a work mode, a control unit stops a rotation of a motor based on the plurality of parameter values set by the parameter setting unit and in accordance with the tightening torque value calculated by the torque estimation unit. In the parameter setting mode, a work information storage unit stores the tightening torque value calculated by the torque estimation unit during a tightening work according to a user operation, and the parameter setting unit sets the plurality of parameter values based on the tightening torque value stored in the work information storage unit.

Abstract: An impact rotary tool includes: an impact mechanism that applies stroke impact to an output shaft by an output from a motor; a stroke detector that detects a stroke by the impact mechanism; a controller that stops rotation of the motor based on the detection result by the stroke detector; and a voltage detector that detects a voltage in the stroke detector. The controller determines whether the stroke detector has an abnormality based on the voltage detected by the voltage detector while the motor is not rotating. An informing unit informs a user that an abnormality is occurring when the controller determines an abnormality in the stroke detector.

Abstract: An impact rotation tool includes a motor, a switching element that performs a switching operation based on a PWM control signal, and a controller that performs PWM control on the motor with the switching operation of the switching element. The controller includes a PWM control unit that generates the PWM control signal, an impact detector that detects whether or not an impact has been generated, and a control frequency switch unit that selects a control frequency of the PWM control signal from a first control frequency, which is in an audible range, and a second control frequency, which is higher than the frequency in the audible range. The controller outputs a PWM control signal having the second frequency when detecting that an impact has not been generated and outputs a PWM control signal having the first frequency when detecting that an impact has been generated.
