    Abstract: The combiner has a reflecting surface that reflects incident light. When the incident light has an incident angle in a range from 0° to 25°, inclusive, defined as a first value, in a wavelength range from 400 nm to 700 nm, inclusive, the upper limit wavelength of a wavelength range having a reflectance of 90% or more of the reflectance peak of the incident light is shorter than 700 nm. When the incident angle takes a second value in a range from 60° to 85°, inclusive, in the wavelength range from 400 nm to 700 nm, inclusive, the reflectance peak of an S-wave component contained in the incident light has a wavelength shorter than 570 nm.

    Abstract: First and second cover members of a cover of a head-up display device cover an opening region of a housing. The first cover member is rotationally movable with respect to the housing around a first rotation fulcrum fixed to the housing. The second cover member is rotationally movable with respect to the first cover member around second rotation fulcrums respectively fixed to first and second end parts of the first cover member. When the first cover member turns with respect to the housing and the second cover member turns with respect to the first cover member, the first end part is located at an outer side than a first side of a mirror, and the second end part is located at an outer side than a second side of the mirror. The second cover member is not present in an optical path of light projected from a projector to the mirror.

    Abstract: In a head-up display device, in accordance with lifting and lowering operations of a combiner, each protrusion of a combiner support moves along a guide portion, causing a cover-operation member to turn about a rotary axis in a direction in which a cover is opened or closed. The guide portion includes, from top in order: a first guide portion which engages with the protrusion in a first state (use state); a second guide portion which engages with the protrusion when the cover-operation member turns; and a third guide portion which engages with the protrusion in a second state (non-use state). The angle formed by the direction in which the first guide portion extends and the direction in which the third guide portion extends is less than the angle formed by the direction in which the first guide portion extends and the direction in which the second guide portion extends.
