Abstract: A liquid crystal backlight device includes: a frame that includes a first frame and a second frame defining a space; a liquid crystal panel that covers an opening of the first frame; a backlight unit that irradiates the liquid crystal panel with light; an optical sheet; a cushion member that is located between the liquid crystal panel and the first frame, and surrounds the opening without any gap; a plurality of cushion members that are located between the first frame and the optical sheet, surround the opening, and are arranged at a predetermined spacing from each other; and a seal material that seals a hole which is formed through a lateral part of the frame as seen from the front and through which the space and an outside of the liquid crystal backlight device communicate with each other.

Abstract: A display manufacturing device sticks a transparent panel to a display panel, the display panel including a front surface having a periphery covered by a bezel. The display manufacturing device includes: a dispenser that makes a dam by dispensing a light curable resin to straddle the front surface of the display panel and the bezel, and be along an inner peripheral edge of the bezel to stick the transparent panel to the front surface of the display panel; and at least one light irradiation device that emits light that cures the dam. The at least one light irradiation device emits the light in a direction that forms an acute angle between the direction and the front surface of the display panel, the direction being a direction that allows the light to reach the light curable resin that has entered a gap between the front surface and the bezel.

Abstract: A film wrapping display includes a display device configured to display information in a display area by emitting light, a transparent plate disposed on a display surface side of the display device, a bezel disposed around a periphery of the display device and including a support portion that supports the transparent plate, and a film continuously attached to both of the transparent plate and the bezel. A periphery of the display area where the transparent plate is supported by the support portion is an edge portion. The edge portion includes a decorative layer whose pattern or color is different from that of the display area.
