Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes: a first display panel including a first liquid crystal cell; a second display panel including a second liquid crystal cell; and a bonding member that bonds the first and the second display panels together. The bonding member is made of a photocurable resin. In a section in a thickness direction of the first display panel and parallel to either a longitudinal axis direction or a latitudinal axis direction of the first display panel, a relative curing reaction rate at a central representative point of the bonding member is greater than a relative curing reaction rate at an end representative point of the bonding member. A difference between the relative curing reaction rate at the central representative point of the bonding member and the relative curing reaction rate at the end representative point of the bonding member falls within 4%.

Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes: a liquid crystal panel; a reflection sheet arranged on a rear surface side of the liquid crystal panel, the reflection sheet being curved so that a surface facing the liquid crystal panel is recessed; and a light emitting diode substrate including: a light emitting diode array in which a plurality of light emitting diodes are arranged along a longitudinal direction; and electrodes connected to the plurality of light emitting diodes. Abstract: In a liquid crystal display device that performs horizontal divisional-drive operation, writing of a pixel voltage to pixels in a head row in vertical scanning of each display region becomes insufficient, and a dark line is displayed when the head row is located at the screen center, deteriorating the image quality. For example, a scanning line drive circuit to drive gate lines of a lower display region sequentially outputs a scanning pulse (Pk) for selecting a (n+k)th row of an image. A video line drive circuit to drive source lines of the lower display region outputs a pixel voltage corresponding to data (Dn+k) during a period of the scanning pulse (Pk). An application start timing of the pixel voltage with respect to application of the scanning pulse (Pk) is set earlier in a (n+1)th row, a head row, during an effective scanning period (TEFF) than in the subsequent rows.
