The method includes transmitting a first message including a random preamble selected from a set of preambles to a base station (BS), receiving a second message including control information required for establishing communication between the UE and the BS in one or more physical downlink control channels (PDCCHs) in a first time duration, determining one PDCCH in the one or more PDCCHs which has the highest received signal power (RSRP), in a third message reporting the one PDCCH with the highest RSRP to the base station and transmitting uplink scheduling information in one or more physical uplink shared channels (PUSCHs) in a second time duration and receiving a fourth message, the fourth message includes a contention resolution process and a report indicating the one PUSCH with the highest RSRP.

    摘要: Apparatus and methods for channel access in an Unlicensed (UL) Sidelink (SL) communication system. In one embodiment, a relay UE triggers a listen-before-talk (LBT) process requesting to access first resources for transmission of data to a base station (BS), or reception of data from the BS. In response to the LBT, the relay UE receives a first grant that indicates the first resources for the transmission of data to a base station (BS), or reception of data from the BS. The relay UE receives from one or more UEs which are in a first set, wherein the first set of UEs are in communication range of the first UE, requests to access second resources for transmission or reception of data between the first UE, and the one or more UEs in the first set. Finally, the relay UE transmits grants of the second resources, to the one or more UEs of the first set, wherein the second resources include the remaining part of the first resources not used by the first UE.

    摘要: Apparatus and methods for interference management in Multicast Broadcast Service (MBS) in a wireless network. A User Equipment (UE) receives unicast and MBS from a Base Station (BS). In one embodiment, the UE measures the interference between unicast and MBS, and performs beam adaptation to find a receive beam that matches both unicast and MBS beams to reduce the interference between the unicast and MBS. In another embodiment, the UE reports its desired receive beam direction to the BS. The BS may schedule the UE with the indicated beam by the UE. In other embodiment, the BS measures the link qualities of a plurality of the UEs receiving MBS, and if it receives a link failure indication from a UE, it may schedule that UE with a unicast service.
