    摘要: A method of processing measurement signals from a movement sensor on board a motor vehicle, wherein in a preliminary phase, a reference offset value is stored, representative of the value of the signal output by the sensor, with the vehicle stopped, a noise value representative of the white noise of the sensor, and an acceleration value determining a running threshold of the vehicle. Then, throughout the life of the vehicle, sequences of successive measurements are taken of the value of the signal output by the sensor, and, for each sequence, the stored offset value is subtracted from each measure value and each calculated value is compared with the stored running threshold. Information representative of a stopped state is transmitted only if, the calculated values are less than the stored running threshold and roughly equal to each other with a tolerance margin corresponding to the stored noise value.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for filtering information emitted, on the basis of pressure measurements taken by a pressure sensor mounted on a wheel of a vehicle equipped with a tire, to a central unit mounted on the vehicle. According to this method, a value representative of the pressure of the air in the tire is measured periodically, with a period θ, and from this any possible variations ΔP in pressure between the values of the pressures successively measured are deduced; in parallel, with the same period θ, a value representative of the temperature of the air in the tire is measured. In addition, when there is a variation ΔP in pressure between two measured pressure values, that is greater in terms of absolute value than a predetermined threshold Sp, the variation ΔT between the two temperature values measured at the same instants as the measured pressures is calculated. The emission of a signal representative of a variation in pressure to the central unit is commanded only if the comparative change in the pressure and in the measured temperature might be representative of a variation of the amount of air in the tire.

    摘要: When a vehicle travels a bend, tire pressure measurement devices (2) are assigned to wheel positions. For this purpose, it is determined by means of ABS (4) whether it is a left-hand or right-hand bend. Wheel revolution counts are then measured in each tire and sent along with identification codes to a central analysis unit (3). There the wheel revolution counts are collated with the bend data determined by the ABS. The two higher wheel revolution counts are then assigned to the side of the vehicle on the outside of the bend and the two lower wheel revolution counts are assigned to the other side of the vehicle.
