    摘要： An inflatable horseshoe support pad for preventing and treating laminitis and navicular syndrome, among other maladies, including a body member and an inflatable bladder. The inflatable horseshoe pad is mounted between the hoof of the horse and the horseshoe with the bladder mounted on the upper surface of the body member near the heel portion so that it engages the frog of a horse's hoof when installed on the hoof. The support pad is mounted under the bladder. A frog pad can also be mounted under the support pad.

    摘要： A gel that includes a fungicide or an anti-bacterial is contained within a single dosage packet that includes a tapered nozzle end and a body. The fungicide or anti-bacterial gel is applied to the hoof of a horse by opening the packet at the tapered nozzle end and squeezing the body. The gel is then spread over the frog and sole of the hoof with a portion of the packet. The gel is heated so that it spreads to recessed areas of the hoof that can contain the bacterial and fungus infections.

    摘要： A process for producing high grade metakaolin directly from kaolinzed sands ore body. In one embodiment, a source of kaolin ore is reduced in the size to a size distribution of between −2 inches and 10 mesh. The ore is then dried in a dryer at a temperature of not greater than 180° C. to a moisture content of not greater than 0.5% by weight to liberate kaolin and calcined at a temperature of not greater than 875° C. to produce metakaolin.
