摘要： A system is disclosed including an electronic device having a case housing an operative portion, such as a sound system, CD Player, or the like. A bay is formed in the case and includes a communication channel interface electrically coupled to the operative portion. The system further includes a portable computer, such as a personal digital assistant (PDA). The portable computer is sized to fit within the bay having a communication channel thereof in data communication with the communication channel interface. The portable computer stores applications including one or more control applications programmed to generate control signals in response to user inputs. Applications may display an interface on a touch screen and receive user inputs therefrom. The control signals are transmitted to the operative portion which responds to the control signals by playing music, adjusting a volume level, and the like.

The outer wall includes rounded or faceted surfaces conforming to the hand of a user holding the electronic device. A compressible stylus may secure to the portable electronic device between two stops holding the stylus in a compressed position. A cover of the electronic device hingedly secures thereto and includes a catch selectively maintaining the cover in a closed position. A power switch of the electronic device is positioned proximate the catch such that substantially simultaneous release of the catch and powering on of the device are enabled.

摘要： The present invention provides a fully functional keyboard in a form factor no larger than that of a small cell phone. The keyboard achieves this small form factor by utilizing an entirely unique keyboard layout in which the keys in the top and bottom letter rows are reduced in the North-South axis, (the transverse axis i.e. the axis at right angles to the letter rows) whilst all the keys in the middle letter row, (the “Home” row) are maintained as full-size, (18 mm×18 mm with 1 mm spacing) in both the North-South and East-West axis. (the longitudinal axis i.e. the axis parallel to the letter rows) The size is further reduced by folding the keyboard. This is achieved by having the keyboard divided into four sections, hingedly connected along three fold lines, whereby the keys are cut at the fold lines to permit folding of the keyboard into a “W” shape. The size is further reduced by constructing each section of the keyboard in an extremely thin form-factor. (0.125″ or 3.2 mm) Finally, all this is achieved without adding an outside shell or frame. A stand is constructed in the form factor of two and/or three credit cards, which can be unfolded in various manners into various stands, all of which can support a PDA or cell phone with the screen placed at an angle of 45 degrees to the vertical and in such a manner that the PDA or cell phone can receive the keystroke signals transmitted from the IR transmitter in the keyboard.

摘要： A self defense spray device comprising a spray unit having a spray canister with an irritant spray, a nozzle operable to release the irritant spray, and a first connector attached to the spray canister. The device further includes a holder having a second connector adapted to releasably engage the first connector to releasably connect the spray unit to the holder, and a safety mechanism that prevents the nozzle from releasing the spray when the spray unit is connected to the holder, thus disarming the device. Once the spray unit is removed from the holder, the safety no longer blocks the nozzle thus arming the device.

A plurality of jets are directed upwardly from a spray head which is mounted on a longitudinal member positioned closely to the ground on which the vehicle is resting. A handle is attached to the longitudinal member and wheels are mounted to the frame and the longitudinal member to allow manual reciprocal movement of the cleaner beneath the vehicle by an operator. The jets are angularly adjustable such that the cleaner may also be used to clean the surface itself such as a driveway.
