摘要： An exposure control for still cameras wherein a first portion of a diaphragm shutter is movable from cocked position to one of several second positions for effecting admission of scene light to an unexposed film frame, and a second portion of the shutter is movable from a first to a second position subsequent to movement of first shutter portion from the cocked position to terminate the exposure. The aperture size and the exposure time can be varied within a first range of light intensities which is monitored by a first photoresistor. The exposure time, at a selected aperture size, can be varied within a second range of light intensities which is monitored by a second photoresistor. The second range is contiguous to and merges gradually into the first range. The characteristic of the second photoresistor within the second range of light intensities can be changed by a wedge-like filter which is mounted in front of the second photoresistor and whose position can be changed by a pivotable or rotary selector of f/stops. The selector, or the first portion of the shutter, can actuate a switchover device which connects the first photoresistor in parallel with a first fixed resistor when the selector selects a first f/stop, and which connects the first photoresistor in parallel with a second resistor when the selector selects a different f/stop. The characteristic of the second photoresistor within the second range of light intensities can be varied by the filter in such a way that a curve which is indicative of variations of resistance of the second photoresistor within the second range of light intensities in a first position of the selector is substantially parallel to a curve which is indicative of variations of resistance of the second photoresistor within the second range of light intensities in a different position of the selector.

摘要： When a trigger lever is depressed, both a focus adjuster ring and a control disk commence to rotate in unison, driven by a spring mechanism. Position-sensing switches receive signals indicating which subject-distance setting the focus adjuster ring should be arrested at, and furthermore are opened and closed by the control disk during movement of the latter. When the focus adjuster ring reaches the required subject distance setting, it is arrested and kept arrested, thereby completing an automatic focussing operation, but the control disk continues to turn on to its end position, at which it causes the shutter mechanism of the camera to open and furthermore the exposure-timing circuit of the camera to initiation a scene-light-dependent exposure-timing operation.

摘要： A collapsible camera has a lens mount which is pivoted on the camera body and can move between an open and a shut position. An arcuate drive segment is composed of at least two segment parts, both of which pivot on the same pivot axis as the lens mount. These parts can move relative to one another and to the body and lens mount when the latter is opened and closed. The periphery of each part has serrations which engage with the teeth of a pinion that constitutes the input member of a film transporting mechanism so that the pinion is rotated in response to the pivoting movement of the lens mount.

摘要： The camera has a shutter release, a shutter, a device responsive to activation of the release for performing a retarded opening of the shutter, and a device operative when activated for causing the shutter to close. The exposure duration is controlled by an exposure control circuit. When the scene brightness level is within a first range, the automatically selected exposure durations are so short that, during a substantial part of the exposure, the shutter is in the process of changing from its closed to its fully open state. When the scene brightness level is within a second range, the automatically selected exposure durations are so long that, during a substantial part of the exposure, the shutter will already be in its fully open state. The exposure control circuit includes first and second light-sensitive elements, used alternatively for scene brightness levels in the first and second ranges, respectively, and first and second electronic switches connected in the current paths of the respective light-sensitive elements for switching one or the other light-sensitive elements into the exposure control circuit. A master-slave flip-flop has an information-signal input, two mutually complementary outputs and a clock input. The two controllable electronic switches have control inputs connected to respective ones of the flip-flop outputs. A brightness-measuring circuit determines whether the scene brightness level is in the first or the second range, and correspondingly applies to the information-signal input of the flip-flop one or the other of two information signals.

摘要： A film-sheet cassette has a spring which presses a stack of sheets against a wall of the cassette which is formed with an exposure window. An operator or slider is engageable with the uppermost sheet to displace it out of the end of the cassette through an unloading slot. The spring that urges the sheets against the window wall of the cassette is unloaded during the discharge operation so as to ease sliding-out of the uppermost film sheet. Abutments inside the cassette aligned with the unloading slot define a pair of edge slits having a width slightly greater than the thickness of one film sheet so as to prevent the accidental discharge of more than one sheet at a time.

摘要： A self-developing type photographic apparatus includes a self-developing packet having a pair of juxtaposed sheet elements and a supply of film-processing fluid provided between the sheet elements with at least one of the sheet elements forming part of an area which is to be coated and developed by the fluid. The packet is adapted to be advanced through a pressure-generating gap defined between a pair of juxtaposed rollers. One of the rollers has a rigid sheet-contacting surface, whereas the other of the rollers has an outer resilient material layer. Various embodiments for facilitating the uniform spreading of the film-processing fluid over the film area are disclosed, particularly in the border regions thereof.
