摘要: Apparatus for voltage monitoring of a dual-channel device which implements or monitors a safety function of a machine or technical installation. The apparatus comprises an input for receiving an input voltage, a voltage regulator for generating a defined output voltage, and an output for providing the defined output voltage for the operation of the device. A voltage monitor compares a voltage present at the output with the defined output voltage and switches off the output in case the present voltage at the output deviates from the defined output voltage. A first interface and a second interface connect the voltage regulator to the dual-channels of the device, wherein the first interface and the second interface connect to a first processing channel and a second processing channel of the device separately so that the first processing channel and the second processing channel of the device can detune the voltage regulator independently.

The fail-safe peripheral module couples the user programs with the safety-critical process. The safe runtime environment is implemented on the platform independently of the user programs and provides the user programs with safe resources independent of the platform.

摘要: Multilayer tactile sensor with a first layer that comprises a first electrode, a second layer that comprises a second electrode and an intermediate layer of pressure-sensitive material that is disposed between the first and second layers and that spaces apart the first electrode from the second electrode. The sensor further comprises a fastening means for fixing the first and second electrodes relative to each other. At least the first electrode is made of electrically conductive yarn and extends along a defined longitudinal direction. 摘要: A pressure-sensitive safety device for monitoring a technical installation, includes a sensor having first and second sensor cells, and first, second and third electrodes for making contact with the first and the second sensor cells. A pressure-sensitive material within the first and second sensor cells is configured, under local loading, to change an electrical property of the cells at the site of loading. An evaluation unit provides an output signal depending on an actuation of the first and second sensor cells. The first and second electrodes are connected to the first and second sensor cells, respectively, and the third electrode is connected to both the first and the second sensor cells. The first, second and third electrodes are connected to the evaluation unit by a first sequentialization element, and to a defined first potential by a second sequentialization element.

摘要: An automation system for monitoring a safety-critical process includes a platform configured to execute user programs that implement a safety function, a fail-safe peripheral module configured to couple the user programs with the safety-critical process, and a monitoring device configured to ensure fail-safe execution of the safety function on the platform. The monitoring device is couplable to the platform via a first communication interface and the fail-safe peripheral module is couplable to the platform via a second communication interface. The monitoring device runs a fail-safe service independently of the platform, via which the monitoring device interacts with the fail-safe peripheral module. The fail-safe peripheral module signals a safe state based on the implemented safety function and the fail-safe service.

摘要: A safety device for monitoring a technical installation with a pressure-sensitive sensor. The pressure sensitive sensor having a plurality of first and second electrodes, wherein each first electrode overlaps each second electrode in an associated coupling site. Furthermore, each first electrode is spaced apart from the associated second electrode in the associated coupling site by a pressure sensitive material. Upon application of a force at the coupling site, an electrical resistance between the associated first and second electrode changes. A measuring circuitry coupled to said plurality of first and second electrodes successively determines the electrical resistance at associated coupling sites. For determining the electrical resistance at a coupling site via the associated first and second electrode, the measuring circuitry connects the further first and second electrodes to a terminal for receiving a defined potential to enable isolated measurement of the electrical resistance at the coupling site.

摘要: A sensor assembly comprising first, second and third layers of flexible material forming, when superposed, a pressure-sensitive sensor having at least two sensor cells. The first layer comprises first and second electrically conductive regions mechanically connected to each other via an electrically non-conductive region. The second layer comprises a third electrically conductive region. The third electrically conductive region of the second layer overlaps the first and second electrically conductive regions of the first layer. The region of overlap defines an active region of a first and a second sensor cell. The third layer is formed of a conductive elastic material that cooperates under a local mechanical load in the active region with the first and second conductive regions of the first layer so that an electrical resistance between the electrical conductive regions changes in the place of the compressive load. Furthermore, the sensor assembly comprises a fixation adapted to fix the first and the second layers together. The fixation is arranged outside the active region so that the first and third layers lie unloaded on top of each other in the active region and the surfaces of the first and third layers facing each other are substantially free of a fixation.
