摘要: A control method of a brain computer interface (BCI) with a stepping delay flickering sequence is provided. First, a plurality of different flickering sequence signals are generated by encoding a static flashing segment and a plurality of stepping delay flashing segments divided in different time sequences. Then, a plurality of target images corresponding to the flickering sequence signals are displayed. Thereafter, a response signal generated by an organism evoked by the target images is acquired. Then, signal processing is performed on the response signal by using a mathematic method to distinguish which one of the target images is gazed by the organism. Thereafter, a controlling command corresponding to one of the target images is generated. A control system of a BCI with a stepping delay flickering sequence is also provided herein.

摘要: A visual drive control method with multi-phase encoding includes the following steps. A plurality of flickering sequences are generated by an encoding process according to a reference phase and a plurality of shifting phases divided in time division under at least one phase shift state, then a display unit is driven to display corresponding optical images. An optic nerve of an organism is evoked by the optical images, such that the organism generates a corresponding biological signal. Next, a computation process is performed to a digital biological signal converted from the biological signal to acquire an average captured reference phase and an average captured shifting phase of the digital biological signal. Then, the frequencies and the phase states of the digital biological signal and the flickering sequences are compared to output a corresponding control signal. A visual drive control apparatus with multi-phase encoding is disclosed herein.

摘要: In a method and apparatus for visual drive control, a set of flickering images that flicker at the same flicker frequency and that are associated with mutually distinct flicker patterns are simultaneously presented for viewing by an observer. Thereafter, evoked signals produced in the observer's brain are captured, and the flicker pattern having a greatest similarity with the captured evoked signals is determined. Finally, a control signal corresponding to the flicker pattern having the greatest similarity is generated.

摘要: Disclosed are a Saussurea involucrate extract, pharmaceutical composition and use thereof for anti-fatigue and anti-aging. In the embodiments of the present invention, a low dose of ethyl acetate fraction of Saussurea involucrate (preferably 30 mg/kg) and Rutin (preferably 30 mg/kg) can inhibit MDA expression level and increase GPx activity. Additionally, both decrease the expression of COX-2, PARP and caspase-3, via downregulation of NF-kappaB, resulting in neuroprotection. Further, syringe feeding of Saussurea involucrate extract is also performed in aging mouse model. In the future, Saussurea involucrate extract of the present invention can be used in neuroprotection, particularly in treatment or prevention of cerebral diseases, nerve diseases, neurodegenerative diseases, chronic neurodegenerative diseases, aging, and fatigue, caused by oxidative injury.
