Abstract: A three dimensional image generation method can include capturing a plurality of images of an object, generating a plurality of point clouds corresponding to a first sequence and a plurality pieces of first pose information according to the plurality of images, generating a second sequence according to a plurality of correlations among the plurality of images, performing a plurality of registration operations on the plurality of point clouds in the second sequence to adjust the plurality pieces of first pose information to generate a plurality pieces of second pose information, and combining the plurality of point clouds according to the plurality pieces of second pose information to generate a three dimensional image of the object.

Abstract: A structured light scanning method includes a light projector projecting a group of structured light to an object, an image capturing device capturing a group of images generated by the object reflecting the group of structured light, an image processor obtaining a pixel luminosity distribution of an image in the group of images, the image processor determining a reflection state of the image from the pixel luminosity distribution, the image processor determining whether to include the image in generating a depth map according to the reflection state, and the image processor decoding at least one image from the group of images to generate the depth map.

Abstract: An intraoral scanning system includes a motion sensing unit, an image sensing unit, a storage unit and a processing unit. The processing unit classifies first position information and second position information obtained by the motion sensing unit and the image sensing unit in an initial scanning process into first groups and second groups, wherein the first position information and the second position information are stored in the storage unit. The processing unit selectively uses the first groups or the second groups to perform comparison in a re-scanning process, so as to position an incomplete area in a model.
