    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a remote user equipment (UE) may receive an identifier associated with a relay UE and an identifier associated with a serving cell of the relay UE for a path switch. The UE may receive a local identifier associated with the remote UE based at least in part on connecting with the relay UE over a sidelink interface. The UE may identify, based at least in part on receiving the local identifier, a path switch failure condition associated with the relay UE while the relay UE is in an idle state or an inactive state.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a signal indicating respective execution conditions for a conditional handover (CHO) procedure for each of one or more candidate handover groups, the one or more candidate handover groups comprising a candidate cell group and a candidate relay group, and each candidate handover group associated with a different priority level. The UE may select a handover candidate for performing the CHO procedure based at least in part on determining that the respective execution condition is satisfied for one or more handover candidates of the one or more candidate handover groups and on the respective priority levels of the one or more candidate handover groups. The UE may perform the CHO procedure to the selected handover candidate.

    Abstract: A relay user equipment (UE) can relay communication between remote UEs and a network entity via one or more remote device end-to-end (E2E) radio bearers (RB s) established between the network entity and the remote UEs. The remote device E2E radio bearers can be multiplexed into one or more logical channel between the relay UE and the network entity. The relay UE and/or the network entity can allocate communication resources to the remote UEs in consideration of the E2E bearer quality of service (QoS) requirement using, for example, logical channel prioritization at the relay UE and/or different buffer status reports that can provide information on the remote UEs and E2E bearers to facilitate the allocation of resources.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a remote user equipment (UE) may communicate with a base station via a relay UE. For example, the relay UE may operate as a layer 2 (L2) UE-to-network relay supporting a PC5-to-Uu bearer mapping, such that the relay UE forwards messages between the PC5 bearer for the remote UE and the Uu bearer for the base station. If the remote UE determines a trigger event, the remote UE may transmit a measurement report to the base station (e.g., via the relay UE) indicating candidate relays. Based on the measurement report, the base station may determine to handover the UE from using a first relay UE to using a second relay UE. The base station may transmit a handover command to the UE, triggering the remote UE to communicate with the base station via the second relay UE.
