Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. For instance, a user equipment (UE) may receive. from a base station, control signaling for a first sounding reference signal. The UE may determine, based on the configuration and a set of parameters associated with partial frequency sounding of the first sounding reference signal, a subset of a set of re sources configured for the first sounding reference signal, where the subset of the set of resources excludes at least one resource of the set of resources. The UE may transmit, to the base station, a second sounding reference signal over the subset of the set of resources.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, first control signaling configuring multiple aperiodic channel state information (A-CSI) trigger states including at least a first trigger state for a first power mode and a second trigger state for a second power mode. The UE may receive second control signaling indicating a trigger state of the multiple A-CSI trigger states. The UE may determine a current power mode of the network based on the indicated trigger state. In some examples, the UE may receive third control signaling indicating a subset of the multiple A-CSI trigger states, and the second control signaling may indicate one trigger state from the subset of A-CSI trigger states. The UE may transmit a channel state information (CSI) report based on the indicated trigger state and the current power mode of the network.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to wireless communication with a waveform configured according to probabilistic constellation shaping in connection with modulation. A wireless transmission device may determine a sequence of amplitude symbols from a sequence of information bits using a distribution matcher (DM) configured for probabilistic amplitude shaping. The device may further apply error correction coding to encode an information block corresponding to at least a portion of the sequence of amplitude symbols. And the device may generate a sequence of output symbols for transmission based on the encoded information block. In various examples, the device may apply interleaving to one or more of the sequence of amplitude symbols, the information block, the encoded information block, or a combination of the sequence of amplitude symbols and the encoded information block, for the generating of the sequence of output symbols. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for scrambling for probabilistic constellation schemes (PCSs) in wireless communications are described. In some examples, a first wireless device may scramble a set of amplitude information bits associated with a transport block for transmission to a second wireless device. In such examples, the first wireless device may perform a distribution matching procedure on the scrambled set of amplitude information bits. The first wireless device may encode the set of distributed amplitude bits and, in some cases, may perform a modulation procedure on the encoded set of distributed amplitude bits in accordance with a PCS scheme to obtain a codeword associated with the transport block. In some examples, the first wireless device may transmit the codeword to the second wireless device.

A base station may receive a capability message from a user equipment (UE) based on a number of receive antennas exceeding a number of transmit antennas at the UE. The base station may configure the UE with a mapping between sounding reference signal (SRS) resources and bit sequences, or SRS resource indices (SRIs), based on the capability message. The base station may transmit a control message including one or more SRIs indicating respective SRS resources. The UE may use the one or more SRIs included in a control message from the base station to select respective SRS resources from a resource set. Once the UE selects one or more SRS resources, the UE may transmit one or more SRSs in the SRS resources.
