Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for the identification of a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) resource. In some aspects, a network entity transmits configuration information indicating a plurality of CSI-RS resources. The network entity selectively transmits the CSI-RS on a selected CSI-RS resource based on a channel access operation and the configuration information. The network entity then selectively receives a CSI report based on the CSI-RS. Signaling or techniques for when no CSI-RS is detected (such as when the network entity fails a channel access operation for all available CSI-RS resources) are also provided. Additionally, approaches for rate matching shared channels around CSI-RS resources or managing CSI interference (CSI-IM) are disclosed, as well as CSI reporting approaches for scenarios when the user equipment (UE) fails to transmit CSI feedback due to a failed channel access operation, including triggered or re-triggered CSI reports.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for adjusting an encoding timing or a decoding timing in a manner that minimizes disruption of ongoing uplink or downlink traffic. Some aspects more specifically relate to decoupling adjustment of the encoding timing and adjustment the decoding timing to enable independent adjustment of the encoding timing or the decoding timing. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may perform adjustment of the encoding timing, relative to an active time indicated by a discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration, at a time at which uplink traffic is absent. Additionally, or alternatively, the UE may perform adjustment of the decoding timing, relative to an active time indicated by a DRX configuration, at a time at which downlink traffic is absent. Accordingly, upon receiving a DRX configuration, the UE may wait until a period in which uplink traffic or downlink traffic is absent to perform a timing adjustment.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for listen-before-talk (LBT) failure-based channel congestion measurement and recovery triggering. In one aspect, a user equipment (UE) may determine an LBT metric based on a result of attempting to perform an uplink transmission in connection with an LBT procedure. For example, the UE may determine an absolute quantity of LBT failures, a ratio of unsuccessful uplink transmissions to total uplink transmission attempts, an absolute quantity of LBT successes, or another type of LBT metric. The UE may trigger a recovery action, such as a radio link failure (RLF) recovery action or a bandwidth part switch, based on determining that the LBT metric satisfies a threshold.

Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to receiving multiple synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) from a target cell over a measurement time window.
