摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify a throttling indicator for a shared resource associated with a modem at the UE. The CE may determine a configuration of the modem based on a configuration received from a Radio Resource Control layer of the UE. Based on the modem configuration and the throttling indicator, the UE may identify a throttling level to apply to the modem. The UE may adjust the modem configuration for communicating with a base station based on the throttling level in order to reduce resource usage below a usage threshold. By reducing usage of the shared resource by the modem, the UE may have a greater availability of the shared resource to meet the needs of other components of the UE. This may provide an improved user experience at the UE, among other benefits.

摘要: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a receiver device may receive a first packet of a plurality of packets included in a reordering window of the receiver device. The receiver device may receive a second packet of the plurality of packets. The receiver device may provide the first packet and the second packet based at least in part on expiration of a reordering timer. The receiver device may receive a third packet of the plurality of packets at a third time, wherein the first packet, the second packet, and the third packet are received sequentially. The receiver device may provide a set of packets including the first packet, the third packet, and the second packet in order, to a higher layer in accordance with a timer that is shorter than a length of the reordering window. 摘要: Wireless communication systems and methods related to Radio Link Control (RLC) status reporting are provided. A wireless communication device receives one or more radio link control (RLC) packet data units (PDUs) of a sequence of RLC PDUs. The wireless communication device determines missing RLC data PDUs in the sequence of RLC PDUs based on the received one or more RLC PDUs. The wireless communication device receives a first uplink (UL) grant. The wireless communication device transmits a first RLC status report including an indication of a first subset of the missing RLC PDUs less than all the missing RLC PDUs, the indication of the first subset of missing PDUs being based on a size of the first UL grant. The wireless communication device modifies a RLC status prohibit timer based on the transmitted first RLC status report indicating less than all the missing RLC PDUs.

摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE). The UE starts a first timer (such as a discontinuous reception (DRX) hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) round-trip-time (RTT) timer), after sending an uplink (UL) data transmission to a network entity. The UE then starts a second timer (such as a DRX retransmission timer) when the first timer expires. The UE then determines whether to wake up or sleep for a duration of the second timer based on a prior block error rate (BLER).

摘要: Aspects are directed towards activating out-of-order delivery (OOOD) on a user equipment (UE). An application programming interface (API) on the UE may set one or more configuration parameters for IP flows from the wireless network. The UE may then measure the IP flows from the wireless network, traffic flow templates (TFTs), and/or quality-of service flows (QFI) to identify measured IP flows from the wireless network meet the one or more configuration parameters. The UE may then activate OOOD for the IP flows from the wireless network that meet the one or more configuration parameters.

摘要: Embodiments include methods for managing a reordering timer performed by a processor of a wireless device. The processor may receive packets from a communication network and store the packets in a memory buffer of the wireless device. The processor may detect one or more conditions that affect an amount of time required to reorder or reassemble at least some of the packets received from the communication network. The processor may determine a timer adjustment based on the detected one or more conditions. The processor may adjust a timer with the determined timer adjustment. The processor may deliver one or more packets from the memory buffer in response to expiration of the adjusted timer.

摘要: Wireless communications systems and methods relate to an automatic transmission scheme for a de-prioritized protocol data unit (PDU) when the originally assigned configured grant for the PDU is de-prioritized due to channel conflicts. Specifically, a user equipment may obtain a PDU for transmission over a first configured grant physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) instance. The UE may then detect de-prioritization information that the first configured grant PUSCH instance is de-prioritized due to channel overlapping, and then automatically transmit the PDU originally associated with the first configured grant PUSCH instance over a second configured grant PUSCH instance.

A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes communicating with a first network on a first channel using a first technology, determining whether a tune-away associated with the first technology will occur, and outputting, for transmission to the first network on a second channel using a second technology, a channel quality indicator (CQI) report corresponding to the second channel if the tune-away will occur, wherein the CQI report indicates a lower CQI for the second channel than a current CQI for the second channel.

A mobile device may receive a configuration for aggregating a plurality of component carriers including one or more cellular carriers and a wireless local area network (WLAN) carrier. The one or more cellular carriers may include LTE carriers, and aggregation may be performed at a sub-IP protocol layer of operation. In one aspect, protocol entities may be modified to perform quality of service determinations, carrier selection, traffic mapping, or the like, in view of the different capabilities and characteristics of the heterogeneous carriers in the carrier aggregation configuration.
