    Abstract: Aspects relate to an allocation of periodic resources where use of the periodic resources is conditional. In some examples, a user equipment (UE) receives a periodic resource allocation along with an indication of a condition for using the periodic resources. For example, the UE may be allowed to transmit on at least one first resource of the periodic resources if the condition is true. Similarly, a base station (BS) may monitor for a transmission by the UE on the at least one first resource if the condition is true.

    Abstract: Aspects present herein relate to methods and devices for wireless communication including an apparatus, e.g., a UE and/or a base station. The apparatus may receive, from a base station, a logged measurement configuration including a PLMN ID and a NID, the logged measurement configuration further including at least one of a trace reference, a logging area, a MDT PLMN list, or a MDT NPN list. The apparatus may also store the PLMN ID and the NID based on the received logged measurement configuration. Additionally, the apparatus may compare the PLMN ID and the NID to an MDT SNPN list to identify if the PLMN ID and the NID are included in the MDT SNPN list. The apparatus may also transmit, to the base station, an availability indicator if the PLMN ID and the NID are included in the MDT SNPN list.

    Abstract: In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may receive positioning assistance data from a location server, wherein the positioning assistance data identifies one or more first positioning reference signal (PRS) resources for measurement by the UE during a positioning session between the UE and a location server. The UE may receive post-measurement positioning assistance data from at least one sidelink device located within a threshold distance to the UE, wherein the post-measurement positioning assistance data received from the at least one sidelink device is based on measurements of one or more second PRS resources obtained by the at least one sidelink device during a positioning session of the at least one sidelink device. The UE may selectively measure at least a subset of the one or more first PRS resources based on the post-measurement positioning assistance data received from the at least one sidelink device.

    Abstract: Aspects presented herein may improve the efficiency and performance of artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML) (AI/ML) positioning by enabling a user equipment (UE) to compress downlink (DL) reference signal measurements to reduce reporting overhead for the DL reference signal measurements. In one aspect, a UE performs at least one channel impulse response (CIR) measurement or at least one channel frequency response (CFR) measurement for a set of positioning reference signals (PRSs). The UE compresses the at least one CIR measurement or the at least one CFR measurement for the set of PRSs. The UE reports, for a network entity, one or more of the at least one compressed CIR measurement or the at least one compressed CFR measurement for the set of PRSs.

    Abstract: Thus, aspects of the present disclosure allow for a target UE to utilize a cooperative device to communicate with a base station when the target UE is out of coverage or in poor radio connections, but can still connect to another UE over a non-3GPP technology. Aspects of the present disclosure may receive a derived radio resource control (RRC) key from a user equipment (UE) in a non-Third Generation Partnership Project (non-3GPP) link between the apparatus and the UE. In some aspects, the UE is out of coverage of a network entity in a 3GPP link with the apparatus. In another instance, aspects of the present disclosure may receive control data from the network entity in the 3GPP link using the derived RRC key. In yet another instance, aspects of the present disclosure may transmit the control data to the UE in the non-3GPP link.
