Abstract: Techniques and systems are provided for dynamically adjusting virtual content provided by an extended reality system. In some examples, a system determines a level of distraction of a user of the extended reality system due to virtual content provided by the extended reality system. The system determines whether the level of distraction of the user due to the virtual content exceeds or is less than a threshold level of distraction, where the threshold level of distraction is determined based at least in part on one or more environmental factors associated with a real world environment in which the user is located. The system also adjusts one or more characteristics of the virtual content based on the determination of whether the level of distraction of the user due to the virtual content exceeds or is less than the threshold level of distraction.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory media are provided for generating obfuscated control interfaces for extended reality (XR) experiences. An example method can include determining a pose of an XR device within a mapped scene of a physical environment associated with the XR device; rendering a virtual control interface within the mapped scene according to a configuration including a first size, a first position relative to the pose of the XR device, a first ordering of input elements, and/or a first number of input elements; and adjusting the configuration of the virtual control interface based on a privacy characteristic of data associated with the virtual control interface and/or characteristics of the physical environment associated with the XR device, the adjusted configuration including a second size, a second ordering of input elements, a second number of input elements, and/or a second position relative to the pose of the XR device and/or first position.

Abstract: A device may be configured to determining display properties for virtual content in an environment with a plurality of physical participants by capturing an image of the environment, analyzing the captured image to identify at least one object in the environment, determining a parameter for the identified object, and determining a display property of a digital representation of virtual content based on the determined parameter. Embodiments may include negotiating display properties with other devices to generate coordinated display properties, and rendering the digital representation of the virtual content so that the remote participant appears to be in the same fixed position to all co-located participants and sized consistent with the co-located participants.

Abstract: Systems and techniques are described for predicting one or more behaviors and generating one or more interventions based on the behavior(s). For instance, a system (e.g., an extended reality (XR) device) can obtain behavioral information associated with a user of the XR device and can determine, based on the behavioral information, a likelihood of the user engaging in a behavior. The system can determine, based on the determined likelihood exceeding a likelihood threshold, an intervention. The system can generate (e.g., display or otherwise output) the intervention. The system can determine, subsequent to generating the intervention, whether the user engaged in the behavior and can determine an effectiveness of the intervention based on whether the user engaged in the behavior. The system can send, to a server, an indication of the effectiveness of the intervention for use in determining interventions for one or more additional users.

Abstract: Various embodiments include methods and electronic devices for tracking hydration of a user. Embodiments may include determining an amount of liquid consumed by the user based on a predetermined baseline consumption rate for the user and a number of sips or swallows detected by a sensor, and reporting an indication of a determined hydration level of the user based on the determined amount of liquid consumed. Some embodiments include determining the user's predetermined baseline consumption rate based on previously counted sips or swallows, either detected by the sensor or input by the user, while the user consumed a known amount of liquid. Some embodiments include selecting the predetermined baseline consumption rate for the user based on the determined type of liquid being consumed. Some embodiments include determining the hydration level of the user further based on a context in the user is drinking and/or the type of liquid being consumed.

Abstract: Systems and methods executed by a processor of user equipment for ensuring a user receives scheduled notifications are disclosed. Various embodiments may include determining a current exercise performed by the user, determining a target breathing pattern appropriate for the current exercise performed by the user, monitoring a current breathing pattern of the user while performing the current exercise based on inputs from a respiratory sensor, determining differences between the target breathing pattern appropriate for the current exercise performed by the user and the current breathing pattern of the user, and providing information to the user regarding determined differences between the target breathing pattern appropriate for the current exercise performed by the user and the current breathing pattern of the user.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory media are provided for generating private control interfaces for extended reality (XR) experiences. An example method can include determining a pose of an XR device within a mapped scene of a physical environment associated with the XR device; detecting a private region in the physical environment and a location of the private region relative to the pose of the XR device, the private region including an area estimated to be within a field of view (FOV) of a user of the XR device and out of a FOV of a person in the physical environment, a recording device in the physical environment, and/or an object in the physical environment; based on the pose of the XR device and the location of the private region, mapping a virtual private control interface to the private region; and rendering the virtual private control interface within the private region.
