Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable a UE to communicate with a non-terrestrial network (NTN) with its location verified using a set of encrypted signals from a set of satellites associated with the NTN. In one aspect, a UE receives, from each satellite of a set of satellites, a set of encrypted signals and time information. The UE generates a set of time signals based on the time information for all of the set of satellites. The UE transmits the set of encrypted signals and the generated set of time signals for verifying a location of the UE. The UE communicates with an NTN based on the location of the UE being verified by the NTN to be a valid location, where the set of satellites is associated with the NTN.

Abstract: A method of wireless communication, performed by a user equipment (UE), includes: participating in a first communication session associated with a first subscriber identity module (SIM) and participating in a second communication session associated with a second SIM, wherein the UE comprises the first SIM and the second SIM; applying a higher priority of access to radio frequency (RF) resources of the UE to transmissions of the first communication session over transmissions of the second communication session; detecting a first type of packet within a data queue, the first type of packet being associated with the first communication session; in response to the detecting of the first type of packet, changing the higher priority of access to the transmissions of the second communication session; and returning the higher priority of access to the transmissions of the first communication session subsequent to the first type of packet being transmitted.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques and apparatus for wireless communication. In one aspect, a method is provided which may be performed by a wireless device such as a user equipment (UE) that may support a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second RAT. The method generally includes: attempting to communicate with a base station (BS) of the first RAT; in response to an event, stopping the attempt to communicate with the BS of the first RAT; in response to stopping the attempt to communicate with the BS of the first RAT, attempting to connect to the second RAT; and in response to a successful connection to the second RAT: identifying a first value of a parameter associated with the event; comparing the value to a second value; and determining whether to perform an action associated with the first RAT based at least in part on the comparing.
