Abstract: A method of display processing comprising receiving a request to turn on a display panel from an inactive state, sending a first interrupt to a processor executing an operating system, sending a second interrupt to a display sub-system in parallel with the first interrupt, generating a first image for display in response to the first interrupt, and configuring the display sub-system in response to the second interrupt, wherein configuring the display sub-system is performed in parallel with generating the image.
