Abstract:
Disclosed are systems, apparatus, devices, methods, media, products, and other implementations, including a method that includes receiving, at a server, beacon data indicative of a location of an asset tag device, the beacon data determined based on one or more beacon signals received at the asset tag device from one or more transmitters that is each associated with a respective one of group values identifying a corresponding one of a plurality of assigned transmitter groups comprising the respective each of the one or more transmitters. The method also includes determining, at the server, the location of the asset tag device based on the beacon data received at the server from the asset tag device and on the group values respectively associated with the one or more transmitters from which the one or more beacon signals received at the asset tag device were transmitted.
Abstract:
A non-gateway node transmits an internet route request to neighbor nodes and receives, from a gateway node, a response message including an address of the gateway node and a gateway indicator. The non-gateway node sets a gateway pointer equal to this address. A gateway node receives an internet route request from neighbor nodes and transmits, to the neighbor nodes, a response message including an address of the gateway node and a gateway indicator. A non-gateway node receives, from gateway nodes on the network, an announcement of internet connectivity that includes address of the gateway nodes. The non-gateway node adds these addresses to a list of potential gateways. When the non-gateway nodes receives packets for transmission to an internet destination, it selects a gateway address from the list, and transmits the packets to a destination gateway associated with the gateway address.
Abstract:
The disclosure provides a method, apparatus, and computer program product directed towards enabling internet protocol (IP) connectivity across multi-hop wireless networks. A virtual adapter is generated to facilitate creating a virtual link layer between a virtual link layer node and at least one other virtual link layer node. The virtual link layer is then interfaced with an IP layer via the virtual adapter, such that data transmitted over the virtual link layer is accessible to the IP layer via the virtual adapter.
