Abstract: The present inventive concept provides a voltage generating apparatus for X-rays including a console that receives an X-ray irradiation signal to generate a control signal and detects the X-ray irradiation signal to generate a first detection signal, a pulse control unit that receives the control signal and the first detection signal from the console to generate a second detection signal and generates a pulse signal according to the control signal and the second detection signal, and a high voltage generating unit that generates a high voltage according to the pulse signal from the pulse control unit, and an X-ray generating apparatus having the same.

Abstract: According to the present inventive concept, there is provided an X-ray generating apparatus including a voltage generating apparatus that generates a pulse signal according to an X-ray irradiation signal and generates a predetermined voltage according to the pulse signal, and an X-ray tube that generates X-rays according to the voltage from the voltage generating apparatus, wherein the voltage generating apparatus detects arc discharge by detecting a current of the X-ray tube.
