    摘要: Provided is a radiation irradiation device that prevents degradation of a battery resulting from a high current that flows when radiation is generated. The radiation irradiation device includes a radiation generating part that generates radiation; a battery part that supplies electric power to the radiation generating part; and an exposure switch that receives an emission instruction of the radiation from the radiation generating part. The battery part has a lithium ion battery, a capacitor connected in parallel to the lithium ion battery, a switch element that performs switching from a state where electric power is supplied from the lithium ion battery to the capacitor to a state where electric power is supplied from the capacitor to the radiation generating part. The switch element switches between the states of the electric power supply according to an instruction received in the exposure switch.

The imaging system further includes a controller (116) that generates and transmits a pause signal, in response to a calculated drop in an intensity of the emitted the beam of x-ray photons below a predetermined intensity level, which causes the photon counting detector array to pause detecting the sub-set of the x-ray photons. The imaging system further includes a counter (136) that counts, for each of a plurality of counting periods, the x-ray photons of the sub-set detected by the photon counting detector array in the corresponding counting period.

    摘要: The present invention relates to signal and power supply transmission for an X-ray source. In order to provided an improved signal and power supply transmission with reduced constructional complexity and enhanced operation possibilities, an integrated signal and power supply transmission arrangement is provided, comprising a supply board (12), a main board (14), an insulating plate (16), at least one transformer arrangement (18), and at least one signal transmission arrangement (20). The insulating plate is provided between the supply and the main board. The transformer arrangement is provided to supply electric energy to the driving circuit of a transistor, which in turn feeds an X-ray source. The transformer arrangement comprises a primary electric conductor arranged on the supply board to cause electromagnetic induction in a secondary electric conductor arranged on the main board. The signal transmission arrangement is adapted to transmit a signal between the supply board and the main board; wherein the signal transmission arrangement comprises at least a first optical signal transmission device provided on the supply board, and a second optical signal transmission device (30) provided on the main board. The insulating plate is light-transmissive at least in the part between the first and second optical signal transmission device. The first and the second optical signal transmission devices are arranged in an optical connection path.

    摘要: An FPD detects an X-ray image of an object. The FPD includes a plurality of pixels arranged in its image capturing field. Each pixel receives X-rays emitted from an X-ray source, and outputs a pixel value in accordance with an X-ray dose applied thereto. A pixel determiner determines a minimum-value pixel out of the pixels based on the pixel values of the pixels. The minimum-value pixel is a pixel whose pixel value is the lowest. The pixel determiner sets the minimum-value pixel as an exposure control pixel. A comparator compares a first integrated value, which is an integrated value of the pixel values of the minimum-value pixel, with a predetermined first threshold value. The comparator performs X-ray emission control such that, when the first integrated value has reached the first threshold value, the X-ray source stops emitting the X-rays.
