Abstract: A composite yarn comprising hexamethylene diamonium polyadipate or polyhescamethylene adipamide and a copolyamide prepared from hexamethylene diamonium adipate and a salt derived from a diacid containing six to 12 carbon atoms and a cycloalkane diamine has a latent crimp and is suitable for use in the manufacture of woven fabrics, knitted fabrics or carpets.
