    摘要: An electrophotographic copying machine is provided including an original receptacle having a first and a second surface for placing a pair of originals thereon. The machine also includes a charger, an exposure unit, a developing unit and a transfer unit which are arranged around a rotatable body of photosensitive material in a conventional manner. The transfer unit transfers a developed image on the body onto a transfer sheet. The machine also includes a fixing unit in which the transferred image on the transfer sheet is fixed and in which the transfer sheet is momentarily held subsequent to the copying of the original placed on the first surface. Thereafter, the original receptacle is moved to present another original on the second surface into a predetermined exposure position, and the copying operation is repeated for the second original. During the second copying operation, the transfer unit is held inoperative, and the transfer sheet which has been held in the fixing unit is moved into operative association with the developed image on the rotating body for transferring the latter onto the opposite surface of the transfer sheet.

    摘要: A control circuit for controlling the rotation of a servo motor comprises a high gain differential amplifier for producing an output corresponding to the difference between a voltage output from a first potentiometer which moves with the servo motor and a voltage output from a second potentiometer which provides a setting for the angle of rotation of the servo motor. The control circuit further includes a high sensitivity switching circuit including programmable unijunction transistors for detecting the output from the differential amplifier to effect rotation of the servo motor in a forward or reverse direction.

    摘要: A corona discharge electrode is supplied with voltage from a high frequency power source to produce a corona discharge which strikes a sheet of reproducing paper to charge the same electrostatically. A detection electrode is positioned in the field of the corona discharge and is connected via a resistor and amplifier to the power source to control the same in accordance with the detected corona discharge to maintain the magnitude of the discharge field constant. A switch is connected in the power supply to interrupt connection thereof with the discharge electrode if a spark discharge is produced between the discharge electrode and the paper.
