摘要: A preparation device (10) for hot melt adhesives includes a base (20) which supports operational components (30, 40) within a housing (50), the operational components (30, 40) including a supply tank (30), a heater (32), a pump (34), a valve (36), an electric motor 38, a control unit (40), and couplings therebetween. The housing (50) includes a stationary section (52) and a movable section (54), both supported on the base (20). The movable section (54) moves horizontally from a closed housing position to an open housing position, thereby facilitating access to one or more of the operational components (30, 40) for periodic tasks such as repair, maintenance or cleaning. This overall structure for the preparation device (10) provides improved access to operational components (30, 40), and it also allows the operational components (30, 40) to be arranged closer together, thereby achieving another desirable feature of compactness in design.

摘要: An apparatus for medical fluid delivery is to be improved for the sake of simple monitoring of the quantity of medical fluid delivered. For attaining this object, a safety device (15) with a patient model (16) is provided, which from past values and current values of the dosage rate of the medical fluid extrapolates a future medical fluid concentration (17) and switches off the dosage unit (10) for the medical fluid if the extrapolated medical fluid concentration (17) exceeds a predetermined limit value (14).

摘要: A method of treating an electronic component comprising an insulating substrate with conductive areas formed thereon to metallise the surface of at least one of the conductive areas comprises the steps of: a) applying a protective barrier to areas of the component which are not to be treated, b) cleaning the unprotected areas of the component, c) applying a layer of nickel to the cleaned areas, d) applying a layer of gold to the nickel coated areas, and e) removing the protective barrier. An electronic component comprising an insulating substrate with at least one conductive area formed thereon, wherein said at least one conductive area is coated with a layer of nickel, the layer of nickel being in turn coated with a layer of gold is also claimed.
