    摘要: An organic light emitting device includes a substrate, an anode and a cathode disposed over the substrate; a luminescent layer disposed between the anode and the cathode wherein the luminescent layer includes a host and at least one dopant; the host of the luminescent layer being selected to include a solid organic material comprising a mixture of at least two components wherein the first component of the mixture is an organic compound that is capable of transporting both electrons and holes and that is substantially non-polar; and the second component of the mixture is an organic compound that is more polar than the first component; and the dopant of the luminescent layer being selected to produce light from the light emitting device.

    摘要: An OLED includes an anode, a light-emitting layer disposed over the anode, and a first electron-injecting layer disposed over the light-emitting layer, wherein the first electron-injecting layer includes at least one organic host material having a reduction potential less than −1.0 V vs. a Saturated Calomel Electrode and at least one dopant material capable of reducing the organic host material. The OLED also includes a second electron-injecting layer disposed in contact with the first electron-injecting layer, wherein the second electron-injecting layer includes at least one organic material having a reduction potential greater than −1.0 V vs. a Saturated Calomel Electrode, and a cathode disposed over the second electron-injecting layer.

    摘要: An organic electroluminescent device includes a substrate; an anode and a cathode positioned relative to the substrate; an emission layer disposed between the anode and the cathode; a hole-transport layer disposed between the anode and the emission layer; and an electron-transport layer disposed between the cathode and the emission layer. The hole-transport layer includes two or more sublayers, one sublayer containing a stabilizing dopant, and the sublayer adjacent to the emission layer containing no stabilizing dopant. Alternatively or in addition, the electron-transport layer includes two or more sublayers, one sublayer containing a stabilizing dopant, and the sublayer adjacent to the emission layer containing no stabilizing dopant. The stabilizing dopant includes rubrene or derivatives thereof.
