摘要: A mask assembly adapted for use with a positive airway pressure device, includes a mask frame, an elbow assembly provided to the frame, a cushion provided to the frame, a forehead support assembly, and a neck to connect the frame to the forehead support assembly, wherein the neck includes a pair of side walls having a streamlined design that is made to look sleek and reduce or minimize obtrusiveness. The pair of side walls may take the form of a single wall or more than two walls. The mask frame may include a recessed port structure including at least one port having access to an interior of the frame which at least in part with the cushion defines a breathing chamber in communication with a nasal passage of the patient in use. The mask frame may also include a channel to receive the cushion. The channel is formed by an outer wall and an inner wall and the channel includes an inner surface having a bead to engage with an outer surface of an edge of the cushion. The forehead support assembly includes a forehead support and a forehead pad coupled to the forehead support. The elbow assembly includes an elbow connectable to the mask frame. A cover is releasably connectable to the elbow. The cover includes a venting area including a plurality of vent holes.

The mouth cushion is structured to sealingly engage around an exterior of a patient's mouth in use, and the pair of nasal prongs are structured to sealingly communicate with nasal passages of a patient's nose in use. The elbow delivers breathable gas to the patient. The headgear assembly maintains the mouth cushion and the nasal prongs in a desired position on the patient's face. The headgear assembly provides a substantially round crown strap that cups the parietal bone and occipital bone of the patient's head in use.

摘要: A patient interface includes a hollow base with an air inlet configured to receive the pressurized flow of respiratory gas in a first direction. The hollow base further includes a pair of air outlets configured to discharge the pressurized flow of respiratory gas in a second direction that is substantially parallel to the first direction. The patient interface also includes a pair of nasal posts. Each nasal post is removably connected to a respective air outlet of the hollow base and is configured to sealingly engage one of the patient's nostrils. In addition, the patient interface includes an adhesive support configured to support the hollow base and nasal posts on the patient's face. The adhesive support is configured to adhere to the patient's nose. An end of each nasal post comprises a ring configured to interlock with the respective air outlet to secure the nasal post with the air outlet.

摘要: A patient interface is configured to deliver a flow of pressurized breathable gas to a patient's airways. The patient interface includes a central portion with an opening configured to deliver the pressurized breathable gas to the patient's nares. A first stabilizing portion extends from the central portion and is structured to engage an outer side of a respective one of the patient's nostrils. A second stabilizing portion is opposite the first stabilizing portion and extends from the central portion. In addition, the second stabilizing surface is structured to engage an outer side of a respective one of the patient's nostrils. The central portion, the first stabilizing portion and the second stabilizing portion cooperate to form a U-shape configured to cradle the patient's nose so that the tip of the patient's nose remains exposed when the patient interface is mounted on the patient's face.
