摘要： A method and apparatus for determining the contact angle of a droplet of test liquid on a substrate surface. The apparatus includes a test article support plate, a pipette for depositing a droplet of test liquid onto a substrate surface of the test article, and a lamp for projecting an image of the deposited droplet onto a projection screen with a base line of the image positioned on a horizontal axis line of the screen. The screen further has a protractor scale calibrated to read twice the normal angular value, and a rotatable reference line which upon positioning through a contact point of the droplet with the substrate surface and an apex point of the droplet farthest removed from the substrate surface directly indicates the value of the contact angle of the on the protractor scale.

In the illustrated the embodiment, a first set of discharge electrodes define a first treatment zone for treating one-half of the circumferential surface of articles directed through the first treatment zone and a second set of discharge electrodes define a second treatment zone for an treating opposite peripheral half of the circumferential surface of articles passing through the second treatment zone.

The tire includes a circumferential tread, a pair of sidewalls, a pair of bead regions each having a bead core, and at least one carcass ply extending circumferentially about the tire from one bead region to the other. The at least one carcass ply is wound outwardly about at least one of the bead cores and extends toward the tread to form a turn-up portion that terminates at a turn-up end. The turn-up portion includes a concave segment that begins in the bead region and ends short of the turn-up end or at the turn-up end.

The reinforcing layer may extend from a point beneath the rim flange of the wheel to a point just above or below the maximum section width of the tire. By adding stiffness to the sidewall region at and above the rim, the reinforcing layer enhances the durability of tire without sacrificing ride comfort.

The cap includes a base wall and a peripheral skirt carrying an internal thread for mating with the aperture's external thread. A hollow spigot portion extends from the base wall within the cap, and is co-axial with the skirt and attached to the base wall by a frangible connection. Grooves or thread are formed on the outside wall of the spigot portion to engage the wall of the bore in the aperture. A method of sealing a container including engaging a cap is also provided.

The camera system can also include an anti-rotation arm connected to the rotor and in contact with a first end of the flexible flat cable. The anti-rotation arm can prevent a twist of the flexible flat cable during panning of the camera lens module.
