摘要: A system displays graphics with an in-vehicle information system and a mobile electronic device. The in-vehicle information system receives encoded graphics data from the mobile electronic device and displays the encoded data with a graphical output device. The mobile electronic device executes program instructions to generate a series of graphics frames that are generated at a first frame rate and stored in an off-screen frame buffer in the mobile electronic device, generate encoded data corresponding to the series of graphics frames, and transmit the encoded data to the in-vehicle information system.

摘要: A method of operating a personal electronic device and an in-vehicle infotainment system includes running an application on one of the personal electronic device and the in-vehicle infotainment system. It is sensed that the personal electronic device has been, or soon will be, moved into or out of a proximity of the in-vehicle infotainment system. The selected application is used to replicate the state of the one of the personal electronic device and the in-vehicle infotainment system on the other of the personal electronic device and the in-vehicle infotainment system.

摘要: A user interface apparatus includes a support structure, a display, a memory, and a processor. The support structure is configured to be supported on the head of a user. The display is supported by the support structure. The memory is supported by the support structure and includes program instructions. The processor is supported by the support structure and is operably connected to the display and to the memory. The processor is configured to execute the program instructions to (i) establish a communication link with a configurable device, (ii) receive interface data from the configurable device, (iii) generate optimized display data using the received interface data, (iv) render the optimized display data on the display, (v) receive a user selection of the rendered optimized display data, and (vi) transmit a control signal to the configurable device based upon the received user selection.
