摘要： Methods, programs products and systems are provided for presenting retrieved search engine results text items to a user on a display device through a graphical user interface configured to associate displayed text items with a search term modification action. Selecting a displayed text item through a graphical user interface component cursor routine automatically instigates modifying of the search term through the associated modification action with the selected text item to generate a modified search term and causes a search engine component to search the modified search term and retrieve new search results similarly presented, enabling additional automatic iterations of search term modifying, searching and result presenting. Modifying a search term may occur automatically or through a selection from a generated list of revising actions, and presenting search results text items may include ordering and presenting a list of result text items relative to an occurrence frequency.

摘要： A signal processing apparatus comprises a plurality of receiving elements, weighting means, and decoding means. Each of the receiving elements has respective weighting means associated therewith at the decoding means, and is arranged to receive a plurality of signals transmitted from a plurality of transmitters. The weighting means are arranged to apply a complex weighting function to each of a number of the signals received by the receiving elements at a given frequency in order to null the number of signals. The decoding means are arranged to determine a symbol or codeword associated with a non-nulled signal and to incorporate the symbol or codeword in the determination of at least one further symbol or codeword.

摘要： A collision warning system (10) discriminates between objects which pose a threat of collision from those which do not by measuring the relative sightline rate of the object, this being a measure of the rate of change of angular position of the object if the sightline rate is above a threshold value, there is little risk of collision. To measure the sightline rate, a radar source (20) emits microwave frequency radiation which is received by two detectors (22 and 24) after reflection from a target. Signals from the detectors are processed by processing means (26). The processing means determines if the sightline rate of an object is below a certain threshold. If it is, and the relative velocities of the object and the system are such that a collision is likely, a warning buzzer (28) sounds.

摘要： A microwave connector comprises two substrates arranged in orthogonal planes. A first substrate (2) is formed as a microstrip system (8) with a microstrip component (3) connected via a quarter wavelength taper (4) to a parallel transmission line (5). This transmission line terminates in a short circuit (15) to a ground electrode (7) on the back of the microstrip. A second substrate (10) is formed as a slotline system (9) having a slotline (13) between two sheet electrodes (14). In this slotline is a slot (16) of dimensions slightly less than the slotline width and sufficient length to accommodate the microstrip. The microstrip and slotline are electrically unconnected. Energy transfer between microstrip and slotline, or vice versa, takes place by electromagnetic coupling between the transmission line and the edges of the slotline. The slotline may be formed with an additional substrate and slotline electrode in a triplate configuration. Several microstrip components (8.sub.1 to 8.sub.n) may be connected in a single slotline substrate (10, 13).

The cable connector includes a body having a forward end and a rearward end opposite the forward end, a post disposed at least partially within the body, a fastener coupled to the forward end of the body, and a compressible member disposed on an outer surface of the body. The post includes a flange portion extending radially from a forward end of the post. The fastener is axially movable between a forward position and a rearward position, and wherein the fastener comprises an interior surface configured to contact the flange portion of the post when the fastener is in the forward position. The compressible member is configured to force the fastener toward the forward position such that the interior surface of the fastener provides a continuous pressure against the flange of the post when the fastener is in the forward position.
