The system includes at least one inertial sensor configured to measure an inertial parameter associated with each of at least one axis. The system also includes a calibration system configured to sequentially measure an inertial calibration parameter at each of a plurality input axes. The system further includes an inertial processor configured to calculate motion of the inertial system based on the inertial parameter associated with each of the respective at least one axis and the sequential measurements of the inertial calibration parameter at each of the plurality of input axes.

    摘要: A CVA system includes a sensor system including a pendulous element that rotates about a first axis via first flexures in response to an input acceleration provided along a second axis that is orthogonal with respect to the first axis. A torque-summing gimbal is coupled to the pendulous element via the first flexures and coupled to a housing via second flexures. The system further includes an accelerometer controller that monitors a pickoff signal of the rotation of the pendulous element from a first electrode coupled to the pendulous element and to provide a forcer signal to at least one second electrode coupled to the torque-summing gimbal to force the torque-summing gimbal to rotate about the second axis via the second flexures based on the pickoff signal to provide Coriolis force-rebalance of the pendulous element. The accelerometer controller can determine the input acceleration based on the rotation of the torque-summing gimbal.

    摘要: The breathing bag has an upper region; a lower region; a conduit for delivering exhaled air to the lower region and a conduit for withdrawing breathable air from the upper region. The device also has a baffle mounted therein for entrapping exhaled air in the lower region and for causing the exhaled air to remain in a low turbulence mode, for promoting a separation of oxygen and carbon dioxide from the exhaust air by stratification and for causing carbon dioxide to accumulate in the lower region of the bag. Consequently, the breathable air rising from the lower region of the bag has a higher oxygen content. In another aspect of the invention, a method for separating carbon dioxide and oxygen by stratification from exhaled air is also described.

An inner chamber of the chamber is maintained at a first temperature. An alkali metal source of the chamber is maintained at a second temperature greater than the first temperature. An outer chamber of the chamber is maintained at a third temperature greater than the first temperature and the second temperature. The one or more cavities of the array of die structures are filled with a portion of the alkali metal source. The one or more cavities of the array of die structures are sealed to comprise the portion of the alkali metal source.
